CBS’s Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan reportedly challenged CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss when Weiss asked reporters to investigate the scandal of Alaska’s ballot controversy.
Fox News reported that several CBS staffers downplayed a New York Times report detailing how Democrats placed a decoy “Dan Sullivan” on the ballot to confuse voters and give Democrat candidate Mary Peltola an advantage in the Senate race.
The New York Times reported that Peltola has ordered a staffer in Summer 2025 to find “as many people named Dan Sullivan in Alaska as you can.”

The Justice Department has reportedly started investigating Alaska’s ballot confusion.

Margaret Brennan basically told Bari Weiss to screw off when Weiss said on the daily CBS News editorial call that they need to stay on the Alaska Democrats-Mary Peltola-Dan J. Sullivan story.
Fox is reporting that CBS's Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan was one of those objecting to pursuing the Peltola scandal. Brennan allegedly compared a decoy candidate to voters being confused by different Sununu brothers who have run for office

Sounds like the typical list of moderators for a Republican presidential debate. Republican voters deserve better.
Brennan devoted major segment to trying to face down tod Blanche on Sunday on this very subject, maybe she should have him on again.
They should be ex-staffers this time tomorrow.
If the party labels were reversed, it would be getting reported wall to wall on every network and it would not just be reported as a scandal for Republicans in Alaska, but as a nationwide scandal for all Republicans.
Precisely. The MDM’s slavish devotion to the rats is unaffected by the candidate. No matter how extreme they may be they will get same protection and support. Be it a nation killing Communist or a Jew hating Muslim they will get it if they are the Democrat candidate in any race. This has only gotten worse as some alternative media has emerged. If a Republican had pulled this BS in Alaska you would be able to escape the story if you hid in a bank vault.
