The murder case of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf has renewed attention once more after the conviction of the accused killer, Karmelo Anthony. The tragedy occurred in April 2025 during a Texas high school track meet, where Anthony fatally stabbed Metcalf.
A jury has sentenced the 19-year-old killer 35 years in prison. He will be considered for parole eligibility only after serving half of his term. In the meantime, a mob group demanding the release of the convicted murderer has been arrested in Texas after engaging in harassment and assault of a woman.
On June 21, an altercation broke out in the parking lot of Whiskey J’s bar in Longview, Texas. It involved a group of people who openly showed support for the convicted killer, Anthony, demanding his release from prison. They challenged the jury’s decision while chanting ‘Free Karmelo’.

Who writes this garbage? Saint Karmelo the Innocent is a convicted and sentenced killer. Heed Scott Adams’ advice.

Time to throw the book at them. They can tack “hate crime” aggravator on top of the conspiracy charge. They obviously need some prison time.
We aren’t voting our way out of this. The violence will increase until one side wins. And the side which wins won’t be the largest, it will be the one which uses violence more.
It wasn’t a Swiss Army Knife. I have several, none of which has a 3.5” lock back blade. Carmelo’s was a utility knife with a 3.5” lock back blade. I have a couple that are similar. Each could be driven, with a lot of intentional, well aimed force, through a victim’s sternium and into the victim’s heart, just what Anthony intnentionlly did with malice aforethought.

A lot of words in that headline are superfluous. Once you see “free Karmelo”, you don’t need to add the words “mob” or “violent.” Its a given.
They are completely deranged - nothing will convince them that Karmelo Anthony is guilty of murder - direct video evidence, eyewitness testimony, facts and data - to them, all of it is fake and racist.

May Karmelo Anthony rot in prison for the rest of his life - I would have preferred he meet up with “Ol’ Sparky.”

He wasn’t just accused but convicted. People may have sympathies for him, but facts are facts. Not understanding why others want to continue making trouble for themselves.
