President Donald Trump on Wednesday said Iran will be bombed “at a much higher level” if it doesn’t agree to a peace deal, raising tensions even as news outlets reported that Washington and Tehran are nearing an agreement to end the war.
Trump in a Truth Social post said the U.S. military offensive known as Operation Epic Fury “will be at an end” if Iran “agrees to give what has been agreed to, which is, perhaps, a big assumption.”

But “if they don’t agree, the bombing starts, and it will be, sadly, at a much higher level and intensity than it was before,” he added.
Trump posted after Axios reported that the U.S. and Iran were close to a one-page, 14-point memorandum of understanding that would end the war and establish a framework for further negotiations.
Washington expects responses from Tehran on “several key points” in the next 48 hours, Axios reported early Wednesday.

Two weeks to slow the spread of nukes
We’ve been hearing this for two, three weeks now. On Will Cain’s show on Fox just now, Brett Baier said that Trump just told him that it could be one, maybe two more weeks to iron this out! One week, two, three weeks more. The KINGS of dragging it out, Iran, will keep this up until Trump is gone. Yada, yada, yada. Drag it out.
I don't think Iran cares, and I'm shocked that Trump's advisors don't understand this.
Iran want maximum chaos - setting the stage for what they believe is the Mahdi/12th Imam. The ends justify the means for them.
It won’t agree to a peace deal that is permanent. Only one that allows them to wait until the US has lost its resolve.
I saw regular gas price in Central Texas for $4.26/gal - as high as I’ve ever seen it here. Hope it is resolved soon.
Continued bombing of Iran’s interior is a waste of armament.
Just keep their exports blocked and they will be forced to shut down oil industry within a week as storage is full.
If further action is desired then start dropping napalm along the gulf shore to take out the fast boats.

I dunno—saying that if you don’t agree to terms you will be bombed sounds a little off...but what do I know? I never had to negotiate with foriegn countries. I just hope the world returns to peace and Iran/Persia returns to a loving country contributing to society in a positive manner

That’s the problem....when the storage is full.
I imagine we will target wherever we think they have enriched nuclear - perhaps with something along the lines of thermite bombs. If they refuse to let us dig it up and remove it, we will just burn it up from the skies. I have no idea, just guessing - and no clue what something that (burning 60% enriched uranium at 2500 degrees) will do to the environment.

The Iranian government is still getting oil revenue from nearly half its normal oil production. If Iran charges market prices for oil domestically, Iran’s wholesale oil revenue would be down about 30%. Iran’s taxes and profits on domestic retail fuel sales would be unchanged or increased.
The Iranians only have slow oil extraction by somewhat more than half.
The idea that Iran will be forced to deal because its oil industry will suffer greatly from a blockade is absurd.
Negotiations and deals are a waste of time, at best. Just continue the blockade until they cry uncle, which shouldn’t be that much longer. Regular army and even IRGC won’t put up with not being paid.
