There is a difference between dissent and sabotage. Between principled skepticism and strategic subversion. And increasingly, that line is being tested—not by the political Left, but by what can only be described as a counter-MAGA Fifth Column operating within the right itself. At a moment when the United States is engaged in active military operations to destroy the escalating threat from the Iranian regime—one that has openly pursued nuclear capability, funded proxy terrorism, and targeted American interests abroad—there has emerged a chorus of influential voices whose messaging consistently runs counter to the Trump administration’s interests. Figures like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, U.S. Republican Rep. Thomas Massie (KY-4), Joe Kent, Nicholas Fuentes, and others each operate in different lanes, with different audiences and varying degrees of influence. But taken together, their public commentary reflects a pattern that deserves serious scrutiny.

Their end will be swift and violent.
Both cannon fodder and their funding sources.
To show you how preposterous our political landscape has become, we have reached the point where quoting President Trump’s campaign statements and posting video clips of him on the campaign trail is now considered “mirroring adversarial talking points.”
Tell me about it. I agree with Trump on 80-85% of the issues. But there are some issues with which I profoundly disagree. Unfortunately for some, I am their 15-20% enemy instead of their 80-85% friend. SMH.
And yes, for the record, I would vote for Trump again if given the opportunity. Still, I will not give him a blank check. See my tagline.
Absolutely. I agree with you.
As early as Trump’s 2011 book, he declares Iran may not have the bomb.
All this noise since is ahistorical.
Here we go again with the “5th column” smear - same as in the beginning of the Iraq war.
Not working this time - never really did. Especially coming from chickenhawk/chickenshit old media hacks. They’re on their way out, along with the “bomb it all” red hat geezers and the actual 5th columnists; Crypto Israel-first change agents and their mystery-meat sucklings.
Grok:
“By 2011 (the book you referenced earlier), Trump was explicitly hawkish on the nuclear program, calling for it to be stopped “by any and all means necessary” and stating he “wouldn’t let them have a nuke.” ”
Globalist BS bump
Back today to support your Islamic masters.
“Sound and Fury, signifying nothing.”
We know who the Free Republic fifth columnists are. There are too many here. It has to stop.
Hello fifth columnist. How are you doing?
THAT WAS 15 YEARS AGO.
ALOT CAN HAPPEN IN 15 YEARS.
DID ANYONE SEE THE SUDDEN RUSH OF AI 15 YEARS AGO?????
The left resorts to violence because that’s all they have. Thinking is not one of their strong points.

Kent enlisted in the 75th Ranger Regiment and applied for the Special Forces before the September 11 attacks. He served eleven combat tours, primarily in Iraq, and retired in 2018, becoming a paramilitary officer with the CIA. In January 2019, Kent’s wife, Shannon, was killed in a suicide bombing in Manbij, Syria.
In 2022, Kent ran for Congress in Washington’s third congressional district. Running as a supporter of Donald Trump, he eliminated incumbent Republican Jaime Herrera Beutler in the nonpartisan primary but lost to Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez in the general election. Kent ran again in 2024, losing to Gluesenkamp Perez in a rematch.
In February 2025, Trump nominated Kent for director of the National Counterterrorism Center. That month, he began serving as the chief of staff to Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence. Kent was confirmed by the Senate in July. In March 2026, Kent resigned as the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, citing disagreement over U.S. involvement in the Iran war and the influence of Israel and the Israeli lobby in domestic politics.
In December 2014, Kent married Shannon Smith, a cryptologist whom he had met at Fort Belvoir, where he had been assigned to an Army Special Operations Command. They had two children, born in 2015 and 2017. In January 2019, Shannon was killed in a suicide bombing in Manbij. After the bombing, Kent left government work, and began to write columns for CNN, Breitbart News, and Fox News speaking out against the war on terror.

“The conversations make clear that his enemies are the generals he blames for the deaths of family and friends, the elites waging “hybrid warfare” against middle-class Americans, and groups like antifa and Black Lives Matter that operate as “organized crime syndicates” and “terrorist organizations.” He positions himself as a New Right class warrior. But unlike so many of the New Right’s leaders, who skew rich and Ivy League, Kent is not a campus reactionary now out in the world. He is a soldier radicalized by senseless wars.”
The phrase “sound and fury, signifying nothing” comes from the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare.
It appears in Act 5, Scene 5, in one of Macbeth’s most famous speeches. The full line is:
“It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”
