Judging by Donald Trump’s outbursts of late, he can’t seem to decide whether reopening the Strait of Hormuz is easy or hard. He also can’t seem to decide whether he needs international allies to help with this urgent task or not. Iran’s blockade on oil shipments exiting the strait—done in response to Trump’s attack—is causing worsening global consequences daily. So it would be useful for Trump to settle these arguments in his own mind already.

But Trump’s incoherence on the Strait of Hormuz actually reveals something else, as well: a massive political weakness.

Like it or not, it's the prevalent anti-Trump, anti-Semite and anti-American bullshit posted here every day that is the primary reason funding FR will begin to fail every quarter.

I won’t be happy if Trump lets the mullahs off the hook, and forces Israel out of Lebanon. But what I do like is that he is cautious, and always trying to avoid getting America into a protracted War. Contrast that with the idiot stooge Bush who promised us that “the people that knocked these buildings down will hear from all of us soon” but then completely ignored those “people,” and went to war against Saddam Hussein, who had absolutely nothing to do with it. Just think of all all the unattended horrible consequences that came about as a result of that needless, stupid War.
