Boasberg moves to hold Trump administration in contempt over deportation flights

A federal judge Wednesday found probable cause to hold the Trump administration in criminal contempt for willfully disobeying his order to immediately halt deportations under the rarely used Alien Enemies Act and turn around any airborne planes.

U.S. District Judge James Boasberg’s order gives the administration a final opportunity to come into compliance but says he otherwise will take steps to identify the specific people who flouted his March 15 ruling, which was later lifted by the Supreme Court, and refer them for prosecution.

Yeah right Obama lackey Boasberg, you do not have the authority to make immigration policy, the Executive branch does.

Impeachable offense?
Constitutional Crisis? Article 2 vs Article 3?
The Judicial does not conduct Foreign Policy. This ruling must not stand.

.......his March 15 ruling, which was later lifted by the Supreme Court........

Does the USSC "lifting" his ruling, nullify any contempt charges related to his ruling?

Tell him to pound sand. The judge does not have power greater than the executive.

Congress needs to get off their asses and get rid of these “District” Junior TV Judges. They are all a bunch of clowns and many of them are foreigners. They are not Americans. Americans are born in America to American parents.

I meant the dems to use this against Trump if they gain control in the mid terms. They used a flimsy phone call the first time.

Whereupon Trump pardons them, and the arrogant judge can go to hell.

I am betting this judge goes forward. Everyone should remember what the Judge in Flynn’s case was doing - he/she was upheld. Kraken!

Ok, so what is to stop any judge in any jurisdiction from issuing an order that 1) that Judge has no business issuing; and 2) that Judge knows full well is not within his jurisdiction to issue. The defendant appeals it on those grounds and you get the same result in the Supreme Court. But said Judge has created for himself a situation where he can now exercise contempt power.

This is a bare naked power grab.

Yes, judge. Please identify ALL of them, so it will be easier for the President to issue blanket pardons to the right people.

Pardon is not the right response, IMHO. Pardon implies guilt. Its the Judge who is guilty of abuse of power and grand delusion.
