America bends over backward to financially support Islamic expansion within its borders, while Kuwait and other Islamic nations would never allow the same for Christianity. This isn’t religious freedom—it’s a one-way street to submission to Islam.
The United States is allowing a foreign, Islamic government to plant its flag in Utah—of all places. A state known for its conservative values and strong Mormon heritage is now home to a Kuwaiti-funded Islamic center, openly acknowledging its financial and ideological ties to a foreign nation.
The Islamic Center of Kuwait in Utah, previously known as the North Utah Islamic Center, was fully funded and remodeled thanks to massive financial contributions from Kuwait’s government and religious institutions. This funding was not just a casual donation—it was a deliberate effort by the Kuwaiti government to establish an ideological and religious foothold on American soil.
The mosque even changed its name in 2014 to the “Kuwait Islamic Center in Utah” to reflect its new patron. Yet, while America bends over backward to accommodate and fund Islamic expansion, where is the reciprocity? Is the U.S. government funding churches and temples in Kuwait? Are Christians free to build megachurches in the heart of the Arabian Peninsula? The answer is a resounding no.

Kuwait Funds the Spread of Islam in America, But Where Are American Churches in Kuwait?
Let’s be crystal clear about what’s happening. A foreign Islamic nation has essentially planted a religious and ideological foothold in Utah, transforming a former spa into a masjid. At the same time, American taxpayers and conservative lawmakers actively supported and celebrated this troubling mosque. According to the mosque’s own Kuwaiti migrant Imam, Kuwaiti authorities, including the late Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Kuwait’s Ministry of Awqaf (Islamic Endowments), provided the funds necessary to purchase and renovate the building. Kuwait did not just “donate” money—it dictated the mosque’s growth, provided $1 million directly from the Emir’s orders, and ensured the property was permanently placed under an Islamic endowment (waqf), meaning it can never be sold, repurposed, or removed from Islamic control.
...
One of the most alarming aspects of this unchecked expansion is the ease with which foreign Islamic governments and organizations funnel money into American religious institutions—with zero oversight or accountability. In the documentary covering this mosque, it was revealed that Kuwait—the government itself—has been funding mosques all over the United States, a practice that raises serious concerns about foreign influence in American communities. Under U.S. law, foreign donations to religious and nonprofit organizations are not restricted. Islamic governments, Gulf state billionaires, and international Islamic groups can freely pour money into building and expanding mosques, religious schools, and ideological training centers across the country.
Unlike political donations, which are tightly regulated to prevent foreign meddling, religious institutions face no such scrutiny—even when the money comes from governments with clear geopolitical and ideological interests. This loophole allows authoritarian Islamic regimes to plant ideological outposts on American soil, using the beard of religious freedom to fund and shape the expansion of Islam in the West while outlawing Christian and Jewish expansion in their own countries. It is an asymmetric, one-sided arrangement that America foolishly allows, despite the clear risks.
Meanwhile, Kuwait enforces strict limitations on religious freedom for non-Muslims. Christian churches exist, but proselytizing Muslims is illegal, apostasy is punishable, and religious freedom is a farce. Any American attempt to plant Christian megachurches or Jewish temples in Kuwait—let alone fund their expansion—would be swiftly rejected.
The Islamic Center of Kuwait in Utah did not emerge organically. It followed a calculated strategy—first starting in the 1980s with small gatherings of Saudi students, then an apartment-turned-prayer room, then a backyard mosque, and finally, a foreign-funded, government-endorsed Islamic center.
So, why is the United States allowing foreign governments to expand Islam within its borders while no such reciprocity exists?

A Strategic Expansion Under the Guise of Religious Freedom..
The Islamic principle of Hijrah (migration for the sake of Islam) is well-documented throughout history, and it’s happening right now in Utah. As revealed in a documentary about the mosque, Utah was chosen strategically because of its conservative values, family orientation, and laws restricting alcohol—an environment that Muslims find ideal for settlement and expansion.
The Imam openly admits that Utah’s family-centric values and alcohol restrictions made it an ideal target for Islamic migration. This is not random—this is calculated. Today, they praise Utah’s laws; tomorrow, will they push to modify them? Europe has already seen this pattern: at first, small concessions, and later, demands for Sharia accommodations in schools, workplaces, and public spaces. This is the long game.
In fact, the center explicitly states that one of its main missions is “spreading Islam in the West” and “improving the image of Islam in America.” They even organize study programs in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia for American Muslims—ensuring that Islamic education is directly tied to the ideological doctrines of the Gulf states.
This isn’t just about religious practice. It’s about building Islamic infrastructure in America—a process that has played out in Europe with catastrophic results. Islamic centers are not just places of worship; they become political and social hubs, influencing local policies and integrating foreign interests into American communities.
The Islamic expansion in Utah didn’t happen overnight. It started with Muslim students in the 1970s and 1980s, then a backyard prayer shed, then a house, then a fully funded foreign mosque. Now, the community is expanding rapidly. This slow, calculated process mirrors what has happened in Europe—and America is next.
Utah’s conservative nature was a magnet for Islamic expansion, as stated by the mosque’s leadership: “For a Muslim, it was Alhamdulillah, this is better than elsewhere.”
That’s right. A deeply Mormon, family-centric state has now become an attractive hub for Islamic growth, funded by an authoritarian Islamic government.
The Imam further revealed that the mosque has already outgrown its current size. From a backyard prayer shed to a full-fledged Islamic center, this is the same playbook used across Europe: establish, expand, and entrench until the host society adapts. Already, the Imam says more space is needed. It took just six years to go from a spa conversion to a packed house of worship with expansion plans underway.
The Islamic Center of Kuwait in Utah isn’t just a mosque—it’s an ideological training center. With classes on Islamic theology, Quranic interpretation, and religious law, they are not simply worshipping; they are actively shaping minds. This is how Islam grows—not just through immigration, but through systematic proselytization backed by foreign funds.
The Islamic center also boasts of having one of the largest Islamic libraries in the region. This isn’t just a collection of books—it’s an ideological hub. What materials are being promoted inside? Are these texts advocating for fundamentalist interpretations of Islam? Are they being used to push Islamic supremacy under the guise of religious education? Many Islamic centers worldwide use their libraries to spread specific doctrines, and this warrants serious scrutiny.
Below is a video from the grand opening of the Islamic library inside the mosque with special guest the controversial Sheikh Abu Yusuf Uthman bin Farooq al-Yusufzai, an ethnic Afghan born in Islamabad, Pakistan, who now resides in America.
...
Even more alarming, the Imam insists, “We have nothing to hide.” Yet, their foreign funding, refusal to demand religious reciprocity, and strategic targeting of conservative areas say otherwise. What are they not telling us? What are they teaching inside? These are the real questions Americans must ask.
America’s Double Standard: Funding Islamic Expansion While Christianity is Crushed in Muslim Nations..
This raises the urgent question: why does the United States allow the open funding and expansion of Islamic institutions on its soil, while no such effort is made to support Christianity or Judaism in the Muslim world?
Kuwait has outlawed Christian proselytizing.
Muslims who convert to Christianity risk severe consequences, including loss of legal rights.
Building a new church in Kuwait is practically impossible.
Israeli passport-holders are prohibited from entering the Islamic country.
Yet, America allows an Islamic country to stake its claim in Utah with zero restrictions.
How is this religious “freedom” when one side is allowed to expand unchecked while the other is legally shackled? The United States is not just tolerating this one-sided exchange—it is enabling it.
Furthermore, the Imam boasts that the mosque is completely debt-free—because it was bankrolled by Kuwait. Unlike local churches that struggle financially, these Islamic centers open with full funding from foreign nations. This is not religious growth; this is state-sponsored expansion.
What Is the U.S. Thinking?
It is astonishing that the federal government has not taken a stand against foreign influence in American religious institutions. Would an American Christian organization be allowed to build a megachurch in Mecca or Medina? Absolutely not. Yet, Kuwait and other Islamic nations freely invest in American Islamic centers, knowing full well that they would never reciprocate such religious tolerance in their own lands.
The Islamic Center of Kuwait in Utah is just one example of how foreign Islamic governments are using religious institutions to solidify their presence in America. This is not just about one mosque—it is about an unchecked, foreign-funded expansion of Islamic influence in a country that bends over backward to accommodate it, even while its own values are eroded.
The reality is, this is more than just a mosque. It’s an ideological outpost. With foreign funding, rapid expansion, and targeted settlement in conservative regions, this follows the same script used in Europe. Utah, of all places, has now become a foothold for Islamic growth, and yet America continues to remain willfully blind.
It’s time for America to wake up and question why we are allowing Islamic nations to claim territory within our borders—while our own religious freedoms are ignored abroad. If America does not demand reciprocity, it is actively funding its own subjugation.
Their church...their business...
Because a lot of wealthy /powerful people in the West actively hate Whites/Christians and America.
later
The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, adopted on December 15, 1791, guarantees the freedom of religion by prohibiting Congress from making laws respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.
Utah? Any ex-Mormons joining the Ummah? Or just lots of immigration?

Where’s Romney? There must be some $$ attached to this.
When even Putin is pushing hard for the islamization of his country, no wonder we see huge mosques in America’s well.
However, the muslim population in America is rather small.
While 15% of Russia’s citizens are Muslims - far ahead of any European nation including France which has 9%.
Putin says Moscow’s new mosque is the largest in Europe (he proudly inaugurated it himself):
Russian President Vladimir Putin has held a high-profile ceremony in Moscow to mark the opening of what he described as Europe’s largest mosque, a soaring and stunning piece of religious architecture.
The building replaces a mosque built in 1904 and will seat 10,000 adherents in a city that is estimated to have some 2 million Muslims, though no official data is published.
I can see it from my back yard. It’s a normal sized building for a religious type building.
Islamic outposts is not what we need. They need to be monitored
I’d say immigrants.
Nope... that’s an enemy religion. Look at what has happened to the UK, Germany, Holland, France, etc.
This needs to be stopped here. And the Founders would probably agree. They simply could not foresee that we would allow the moslem Barbary pirates to colonize us here. They were tolerant, but still pretty suspicious of Catholics. During the Revolutionary War you could still be arrested in Virginia for being Catholic. when the Constitution as ratified that changed, but I would be surprised if accounts from Catholics back then said things were immediately warm and welcoming.
Moslem barbarians? Beyond their imagination.
Better yet, they should be sent back to the Mideast where they belong.
“When even Putin is pushing hard for the islamization of his country, no wonder we see huge mosques in America’s well.”
Moslems in Russia are like our Mexicans here. A restive minority that you ignore at your peril. In Moscow they are very restrictive about new mosques. They warned us about the Boston bombers. Putin is trying to keep his moslems in the tent pissing out instead of outside the tent pissing in.
Simple as that.
