Patel to face a brewing rebellion and legal challenges in bid to reform FBI

Should Kash Patel secure Senate confirmation to lead the FBI, he will face the daunting task of subordinating a bureau of 13,000 agents with personnel actively begging Congress to intervene against the White House’s agenda and whose agents are suing the administration to block its implementation.

When nominating Patel, then-President-elect Donald Trump praised him as the “one guy” who could “make the FBI great again.” Patel’s reputation as a Trump stalwart and vocal critic of the deep state’s career bureaucrats already had FBI agents warning of mass resignations should he enter the post. But now, some seem more inclined to work against the MAGA agenda from within their posts. Patel is expected to eliminate some of the bureau’s top leadership and root out personnel whom he believes have politicized their roles.

The White House’s recent acquisition of data about the agents who worked on Jan. 6 cases in particular has raised concerns that they could seek to axe a large percentage of the bureau’s agents. That data revealed that roughly 5,000 FBI employees were involved in Jan. 6, CNN reported. Trump himself issued a blanket pardon of the roughly 1,600 participants who were convicted or still faced trial.

The episode led the FBI Agents Association and Center for Employment Justice to sue in bids to block any public release of information about the agents under scrutiny. The groups expressed concerns that the employees may face termination or some other form of retaliation.

A memo from acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove that the Associated Press obtained, however, informed agents that those who “simply followed orders” and acted ethically had nothing to fear and their jobs would be safe.

They’re sure giving him a rough time...but more to the point....they’re just trying to delay...delay...delay.

This makes it easy to know who to fire or send to investigate polar bear attacks above the Arctic circle

The “brewing rebellion” is by a small but prominent group of employees at the Washington DC headquarters who were appointed by Obama and Biden and who have good connections with the press. That’s because they know that they will be fired or sidelined and won’t be able to play their games anymore.

I wonder if it is legal for Feral, far left judges to interfere with the Executive Branch by pausing everything the President tries to do. I don’t remember these black robed stooges “pausing” everything Joe Pedo did. This jerks and jerkettes in robes are not playing fair.

Using almost 40% of the FBI resources on J6th was lawfair at its worst. I can understand interviewing these agents to determine which leaders pushed this effort so they could be removed for insubordination.

The Legislative Branch is not the boss of the Executive Branch.
The Judicial Branch is not the boss of the Executive Branch.

People in the Executive Branch need to go full speed ahead and not stop until the law enforcement agencies in the Legislative and Judicial Branches physically stop them.

Its not a “brewing rebellion”

Its open warfare between the corrupt deep-state and the forces of reform.

I don't think an assault on someone's home at 5:00 AM and freaking out family is, "simply following orders", and shouldn't be treated as such. That is Gestapo, and is an illegal order.

Exactly. It’s time for Trump and Musk to start kicking some turd roller ass. They are conducting an insurrection. I just read they are not forcing the FBI guys out. Well, they get them out there arresting these screaming, feces slinging chimpanzees.

We need to treat the FBI agents the same way they treated the J6ers.

Tell them they will be safe and then indict them.

Aa federal district judge ruling being able to apply his/her ruling nationwide is relatively new phenomenon. Zero occurring from 1789-1963. It started essentially with the rise of the civil rights movement. Since then it picked up speed where a party out of power uses it to slow down the party in power. There were3 20 against Obama. 2017-2019 there were 40 against Trump. It’s very possibly an unconstitutional practice. However, it’s never been challenged.
