Zelensky: Russia Has Suffered Almost Eight Times More Combat Deaths Than Ukraine

Russia has experienced around one million casualties following its invasion of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky said while asserting it was twice as many as suffered by Ukraine and with an even greater ratio when counting just fatalities.

Ukrainian combat casualties are comparatively rarely discussed in the West compared to Russian casualties, which are the subject of frequent speculation, estimates, and reviews. Given the opportunity to discuss these figures in an interview on Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asserted his position that Russia had seen nearly eight times as many deaths in the Ukraine war as Kyiv’s forces had.

Speaking to British journalist Piers Morgan, President Zelensky was asked straight whether U.S. President Donald Trump’s estimates of casualties on both sides of the war were accurate, and responded with figures that suggest a massive differential between Russian and Ukrainian deaths. He said: “Approximately around 350,000 Russians have been killed… further they have around 600-700,000 wounded”.

Yeah, but Ukraine/Zelensky has suffered 100 million times the disappearance of war funding than Russia

When I see the population charts of Ukraine, with nearly 90% of men between 15 and 44 being no more in the Ukraine, it leads me to doubt him.

About 10 million Ukrainians have left Ukraine or been displaced.

In the first two years, my guess is the Russians lost twice as many combatants as Ukraine did, mainly due to really bad Russian tactics.

Nowadays it’s probably close to 1-to-1, with high-loss Russian assaults being paired with vigorous Russian artillery attacks on Ukrainian front lines.

My guess is the death counts are probably ~250,000 Russians dead and ~150,000 Ukrainians dead.

My guess is the no longer fit for combat casualty counts are probably ~200,000 Russians and ~100,000 Ukrainians.

The death rates are probably less than in the past because the Russian commanders are not so heedless of combat risks and the Ukrainians position their troops better to avoid death by artillery shells.

Then he doesn't need us, and he apparently doesn't need the land back either. So, finish the Russians off Zelenskyy. Perhaps the elite will start supporting you personally from their wallets & purses. Best of luck to you.

You can do it.

Z-man should work for MSNBC. Same believability. I’m on Ukraine’s side, but that place is so corrupt that even Mafia would reject them.

The 2 to 1 ratio for Russian casualties over Ukrainian casualties seems to be continuing. This is likely inherent in the conflict due to Russia’s role as the attacker, the wide scale and effective use of small tactical drones by the Ukrainians, and the decline of Russia’s artillery and armored combat power.

Zelensky's outlandish claims all make perfect sense if one understands the sole purpose of the ongoing conflict at this point; to foment popular discontent in Russia in order to effect regime change. Zelensky's statement is intended for Russian domestic consumption.

A new Russian revolution and the dividing up of Russia is the globalist objective and an important component of that objective is killing lots of Russians or at least spreading the popular belief that this is occurring. This is CIA disinformation.

Body counts are not really meaningful unless it affects the will of the leaders to consider quitting.

In Russia’s case they appear willing to fight until the next century.
