I can’t help but wonder if this is related to Trump’s cease and desist warnings, and if these people have been alerted to evidence that was collected from 2020 and will be collected again. My gut tells me there is much much more to the story behind the scenes.
Say what you want about Bezos - he hit the nail on the head with his Op-Ed.
He has discovered those who believe the crap the media produces don’t pay to read it.
Maybe he's a Democrat. But he's not a "leftist". So he's tired of the crap they're doing.

I suspect Bezos is seeing a sea change election. If he wants to ride the wave, or just stay above water, changing the Washington Post to a fact based publication is a smart move.

Just consider, it wasn't that long ago that an indictment, much less a conviction would end a political career. Now, we're at a time when the smears have become so commonplace and are so artificially created that the institutions of law and journalism are not believed. I think Bezos might be trying to regain some of that lost ground. He's now finding out what it's like on the receiving end of leftist hate.
