SIERRA MADRE, Calif. (KABC) -- A Sierra Madre man says he found a stack of election ballots stuffed inside a storm drain, and he's now speaking out about the discovery.
Jay Senese was doing some landscape work at his home Saturday when saw something strange in the storm drain next to his house: nearly a dozen mail-in ballots.
He said he got on his hands and knees and started scooping them out and noticed the addresses were from his Arcadia neighbors a block away.
"We're trained here to keep stuff out of the storm drain... I pull out a bunch of junk mail and Ralphs ads and these ballots were mixed in with the junk mail... Of course, they catch my attention because we're seeing on TV about all of the care being taken to prevent fraud and misuse of ballots. It seemed a strange place for ballots to be. "
He says he tried to return them to the nearby post office but they were already closed.
His guess is someone went around the neighborhood opening up the mailboxes and emptying them. What the thieves didn't want, they dumped in the storm drain.
He shared with Eyewitness News that he doesn't receive a lot of mail. He said, for him, its safer.
"I'm one of those people who's got almost everything coming in paperless. I don't get a lot of personal mail. The only thing I get these days... might be a replacement credit card or something."
If you haven't received your mail-in ballot and you believe it may be lost or even stolen, the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder's website allows you to request a replacement by filling out a form online. You can only do this once.
And according to the website, it will not change your registration status.
Mr Senese says he plans on going to the post office this afternoon to return the ballots he found.
He found the Treasure.
Why do we think our side is full of perfect angels who aren’t doing the same thing somewhere?
And that’s fine with me!! :)
Dems are dirty as hell...but the idea that our side NEVER does anything like this....well, you guys must know different republicans and conservatives than me.
The ones I knonw are crazy and know how to fight like the dems, maybe better.
And I’m glad.
Not much in total, but repeated hundreds of times in a swing state?
Mail in ballots are NEVER secure and ALWAYS a source of fraud
Some rabid Democrat canvassed a MAGA district...
BTTT
“Some rabid Democrat canvassed a MAGA district...”
Sierra Madre and Arcadia are deep blue areas.
For Harris...
My bad. Then I don’t care much if their ballots were ‘lost’. They STOLE 2020 and tried to assassinate Trump twice.
Mail in ballots could work just fine but because of the corruption and incompetence factors its a highly suspect tainted process.
So, have they questioned the mailman there yet?
Somehow election officials know which ballots are Dem’s and which are Republican.
Virginia’s Fairfax County Cancels Voter Registrations Of Non-Citizens After Thousands Identified State-Wide
by: Sterling Mosley 10.17.2024
On Wednesday, election officials in Fairfax County, Virginia, identified nearly a hundred non-citizens with active voter registrations as the 2024 presidential race enters its final stretch and after Virginia, a state that has historically leaned Democrat but has become more Republican in recent years has already had weeks of early voting.
According to ABC7 News, Fairfax County officials revealed this week that they have canceled 98 non-citizens from the county voter rolls and have referred the cases to Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano (D-VA) and Attorney General Jason Miyares (R-VA). After being confronted with the information, the Fairfax County Commonwealth attorney, a Democrat, said that he did not agree that the non-citizens violated election law. “It is our hope that your office can provide additional information as to what election law violations you believe may have occurred and any records or documents that might be relevant to showing these violations. We certainly appreciate your assistance in this matter and look forward to hearing from you,” Descano wrote in a letter to the Fairfax County General Registrar.
And so it begins.
Were they blank or already filled out? The article makes it sound like they were blank. In which case kudos to this man for being honest.
That depends entirely on how many ballots the Dems think they need.
