Melania Trump to champion abortion in upcoming memoir: ‘Fundamental right’

Melania Trump has done her best to stay out of the spotlight throughout her husband’s presidential tenure and political career. Now, in a memoir titled Melania set to be published a month before election today, she has openly chosen a side in America’s abortion wars. The Guardian obtained a copy of the memoir, and published the former—and possibly future—First Lady’s pro-abortion declaration:

It is imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government. Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body?

A woman’s fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes. Restricting a woman’s right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her control over her own body. I have carried this belief with me throughout my entire adult life.

Pres Trump pleads with all evangelicals and gun owners, at his rallies, to please vote ... that they are the ones with low turn out numbers.

Unreal, isn’t it?

Then, this distressing thread about Melania!!!

What about the unborn’s Fundamental Right to Life???

Glad now that I held back on buying her Memoir.

The difference to me is this ...

An unborn, or even a newborn, is an innocent life who hasn’t committed any crime ... their ‘crime’, per evil Dems, is to have been conceived or born (talking to YOU, Knucklehead Walz!) ... so, to me ... they certainly do NOT deserve a death sentence. They deserve to live their God given life.

An adult who is sentenced to death, for a horrible murder s/he has committed, chose to commit that crime ... they ARE responsible for their actions, and, in my opinion, deserve the death penalty. No mercy.

You could also celebrate their abortions by thanking them for reducing the number of future liberals brought into the world. Eventually they’ll die out if this persists. 🤣

I suppose The Guardian could be lying though their teeth.

Not the first time.

Connecticut had a law that prohibited any and all contraceptives. I guess it was written to accord with Catholic doctrine which prohibits all contraception.

Until the 1930s, Protestantism was united in condemnation of contraception. The Episcopal Church was first to go wobbly on the subject, the others followed quickly. The culture of death has only gained momentum since.

The ppl supporting abortion most vociferously are usually way past childbearing so that doesn’t even pertain to the issue.

Historic American jurisprudence didn’t prosecute women who got abortions. They were regarded by the law as victims of the abortionist.

How thoroughly patronizing! We hear endlessly about how modern wymyn are STRONG and INDEPENDENT and have their own AGENCY, and how they don't need no man ...

Until it comes time to take responsibility ...

When it comes to slaughtering babies, suddenly they're mere waifs ... babes in the woods, at the mercy of the big, bad wolf man ...

sometimes women get abortions against the wishes of the males in their lives.

Abortion as a political issue is over.

Wrong.

Saving babies from murderous abortionists and "mothers" is very much a STATE political issue.

"I looked on the internet and there are large numbers of articles out about it and they all quote the Guardian."

That figures. If The Guardian got a hold of a copy of her memoir before it's even been released, why didn't any other media outlets get a hold of it too? I won't take the word of a tabloid. I'll believe it when I see it in print in the book myself.

A political issue is one which is contested.

Abortion is no longer contested seriously, not anywhere. And opposition, although morally correct, is suicide for a candidate.

I don’t think any government should ever be trusted with capital punishment. Even if you may believe that it’s ‘just’ in particular situations, too many irreversible mistakes happen; and sometimes they aren’t really ‘mistakes’.

No Sir. American citizens vote for a platform not an individual. There is NOTHING in the Republican platform that advocates destroying life of the unborn. Any candidate accepting the nomination of their party MUST approve of ,to the letter, every dot of said platform. Donald J Trump has been the most pro life President this nation has ever had. Voting for the platform that promotes life does not invoke the judgment of The Almighty, quite the contrary in fact. If the statements attributed to Mrs Trump are correct, then, I pray she check herself with God and repent. Any one with sawdust for brains knows the “my body” argument is the real big lie. It’s another body all together with unique DNA, fingerprints etc. It’s a separate person

"Melania can believe as she wishes, but I still don’t get why she’s choosing right now. the last week’s before the election, to promote her book?"

President Trump brought up his wife's book at one of his rallies I was watching, and encouraged people to buy it. If he thought there was anything in there detrimental to his campaign or policies, I doubt he would have mentioned it.
