Melania Trump has done her best to stay out of the spotlight throughout her husband’s presidential tenure and political career. Now, in a memoir titled Melania set to be published a month before election today, she has openly chosen a side in America’s abortion wars. The Guardian obtained a copy of the memoir, and published the former—and possibly future—First Lady’s pro-abortion declaration:
It is imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government. Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body?
A woman’s fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes. Restricting a woman’s right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her control over her own body. I have carried this belief with me throughout my entire adult life.

They're silly. The only way I can support something like that is a Constitutional Amendment. Otherwise, it's a 10th Amendment issue. Leave it to the states. It's irrelevant on whether I'm pro-life or pro-choice. I may not even live in your state.

I don’t really argue about abortion.
I will always just point out to the liberal person who wants to argue that even a Lefty prosecutor will charge for TWO murders in the killing of a pregnant woman.

I have always liked and defended Melania when she is being treated so poorly by the media. I still like her.
I just don’t think that her opinion on abortion, especially considering she will no longer bear children, is all that important that it be known since she isn’t running for anything.
I don’t know if this is true or not, but it certainly will not change my vote which is what this article wants you to do.
I will say that my opinion of her has now been decreased, about as far as possible...what a let down.
I can’t find any evidence that a fetus always has a different blood type than the mother. If a father and mother are both A+, then the baby could be either A or O blood type. Perhaps you meant to say the mother and baby don’t share a blood supply, which is absolutely true.

Anyone who allows this to change their vote, whether this is true or not, is being suckered.
Abortion is one of the more horrific human actions and a grave sin, no matter how much she or any of the rest of them try to sanitize it with the language of rights. She and others maintain that no one but a woman herself has the right to control her own body. What I have never understood is that if women value their autonomy and control over their bodies, why don’t they behave so that an unwanted conception doesn’t happen in the first place? That would seem better than going through a process that not only ends a human life, but may cause emotional and physical trauma to women themselves?
Is it boyfriends, husbands, fathers or brothers that are forcing them to insist on a “right” to abortion?
Now, about his pretty wife . . . she is pretty. If she is pro-abortion she is putting herself and millions of others at great risk.

I am worried, since I just heard the number of Chrisitans that did not vote last time; it is estimated in the tens of millions.
If they all voted, Trump would not have any problem whatsoever.
I THINK it can be a just punishment for murder (and possibly for child rape). I'm not convinced that American government, as it currently stands, can be trusted with that level of judgment.
Abortion as a political issue is over.
