Bank of America is down: Customers report widespread outage
WRAL ^ | 10/2/24

Posted on 10/02/2024 11:59:00 AM PDT by EBH

Bank of America did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Multiple CNN employees with Bank of America accounts could not log into their accounts online. A message displayed for one Bank of America customer said the current balance amount for one or multiple accounts “may be temporarily unavailable.”

“Five accounts show zero balance, over 20K,” one Bank of America customer on Downdetector wrote.

Another said he can’t log in but his wife can and her accounts display no balance.

“Shows my debt just fine tho,” another user said.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

I don’t think she drinks bourbon, she’s probably into Hpnotiq and Hennessy or in a pinch Colt 45 and King Cobra Malt Liquors.

Meh! If you have bourbon, you don't need coffee.

I like how you think.

I buy coffee beans as a souvenir when we travel. I’m always scouting for local roasters I have not heard of in the Northwest and Western Canada. I’ve got ten pounds stashed away which is good for 100 days!

I gave up caffein several years ago, for some reason it really started to affect my blood pressure and made me dizzy, not just coffee but tea and soft drinks with caffein in them, gave it all up, the body just couldn’t take it anymore.

I wish the general public understood how widespread and practically universal cyber attacks really are. It’s not if but when, and in every case I’ve worked, the customer had no idea they’d been breached.

They suck. I had been with a bank since 1977, it was acquired by one bank, then another, and I woke up to find myself a Bank of America customer.

I stuck with them for decades, then two things happened:

I found out how bloody Leftist they were, and then, when my wife and I actually DID need their help in preparing for our retirement, their service atrociously sucked.

They assigned some twenty-something hispanic woman to work with us who had lousy English and didn’t know what she was doing.

The woman was so bad, we got another person-almost the same thing.

My wife, who is much more even keeled about these things than I am, was so pissed off she suggested we move to another bank. I had to wait for her to ask.

It took us about six months to completely disentangle ourselves from them, but boy, was I ever glad we did.

I’ll never do verizon again. Went to US Mobile. Phone bill went from $178 monthly to $20 monthly. 2 lines 2gb data. They piggyback Verizon network.

If you bank with Bank of America, you deserve what you get! Yeah, I said it and I mean it. The absolute worst bank in the USA.

B of A is still down. What impact does this have on the economy on a daily basis?

I left BOA in 2020 when they cooperated with the government in identifying clients who made transactions in DC on Jan 6.

Apparently anybody who did business in DC with a BOA card was a potential criminal. Good riddance.

RE: I am voice typing.

We will know the AI takeover to enslave and then replace humans has taken place when you try to ask it to type “I support Trump” and it replies:

I’m Afraid I Can’t Do That, Dave.
