Bank of America did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Multiple CNN employees with Bank of America accounts could not log into their accounts online. A message displayed for one Bank of America customer said the current balance amount for one or multiple accounts “may be temporarily unavailable.”
“Five accounts show zero balance, over 20K,” one Bank of America customer on Downdetector wrote.
Another said he can’t log in but his wife can and her accounts display no balance.
“Shows my debt just fine tho,” another user said.
This is a developing story and will be updated.

Maybe BOA’s systems are having trouble keeping up with all the transactions of people hoarding toilet paper because of the longshoremen’s strike. LOL
Verizon Monday now BOA….radicals testing for “something”?
Our local Bank of America was bought out by the small East Texas Vera Bank several years ago, so I had a decision to make.
I’m glad I went with Vera Bank. They’re great!
Well, I’m not going to say good, but I’m not crying. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bank.
heh.
If I remember right, they are quite on the woke side of things.
Didn’t they de-bank some famous people and organizations or being conservative?
I guess BOA’s customers haven’t been paying their fair share so the government has collected their funds.
People trying to have a bit of on-hand cash?
I was thinking today what about coffee, the USA produces only a tiny fraction of the coffee it consumes, and that fraction comes from Hawaii and goes into the West Coast, the vast majority of the coffee the US imports comes from Central and South American thru the port of New Orleans, which is closed because of the strike.
How many people will freak out if they can’t get their morning cup of coffee or pay an enormous price to get whatever coffee is available.
Think of all the Starbucks and Convenience Stores that will be affected, not to mention it could also affect things like Red Bulls and other energy drinks that use caffein in the products.
Something’s up.
Another said he can’t log in but his wife can and her accounts display no balance.
“Shows my debt just fine tho,” another user said.
New age reporting!
Didn't Soros promise something for October ?
I can’t speak about banking. accounts. but I do have their credit card. and I just now logged on successfully.
Sorry about the weird punctuations.. I. am voice typing.
Meh! If you have bourbon, you don't need coffee.
Vote early.
Yes the Democrats will then know how much they need to cheat.
But if you wait until election day they can crash the system on you, then shut the doors at 8 o’clock.
(It’s democracy you see!)
If anyone wants on or off the Ping Me When the Internet Goes Down pinglist, kindly FReepmail me. Thanks!
That’s true, but Starbucks and I don’t know of any convenience store that sells bourbon and not too many jobs allow you to drink bourbon while on the job.
People need to stand up for themselves, and choose better jobs that they can fall down on. Like our current Vice President!
I just got online through the app without any snags. My piddly accounts are all there, still piddly balances. My credit cards are all there as well, with correct balances.
I can’t make my Globe Life Insurance payment online and no one is answering a ‘phone.
They should issue a reassuring statement using Verizon.
Oh, wait.
Notice about Verizon after restoration of service.
If you only have issues with one specific Wi-Fi network, then the issue is with that Wi-Fi access point, not your device. When all else fails, try unplugging the router and modem for about 60 seconds, to reset them, then plug them back in. This will reset them with the ISP and may fix the problem.
