WASHINGTON — Ron Wyden, Oregon's senior U.S. senator, introduced legislation Thursday that would overhaul the U.S. Supreme Court and "restore public trust" in the institution, his office said in a statement. The "Judicial Modernization and Transparency Act" would make a number of significant changes to the highest court and the federal circuit courts beneath it, including an overall expansion of the court itself.
"The Supreme Court is in crisis and bold solutions are necessary to restore the public trust," Wyden said.

Since FDR filled court with lefties, we were supposed to believe that 5 to 4 majority of Supremes basically establish Constitutional laws. No appeals, no regresses.
E.g. Roe vs Wade established women constitutional right to abortion.
Supremes were just Gods incarnates. There were excuses - “well nobody likes this, but the judges decided, we have to follow!”
Now, suddenly, when conservatives, after like 80 years, gained upper hand, all that goes by wayside!
No, not going to happen. Even if it did, someone could bring a lawsuit and the Supreme Court itself would sober them up to the Constitutional truth by striking it down.
This bill is nothing but Grandstanding by Wyden to his deranged base. After all, it’s election season. We’re likely to see worse.
Restore ONLY the liberal, socialist, homo, communist trust is what he is saying. NOT all of the rest of us. Only their views. Change from 9 to 15 so that a dimocrat prez can put them in. If Trump wins, we should do just what this cow wants, go to 15 and let Trump put the 6 new ones in.

Congress has no power over the Supreme Court.
We have three EQUAL but SEPARATE branches of government.
The Supreme Court was established in our Constitution and nothing but a Constitutional amendment can change anything with the court.
Nope, as a fellow Oregonian, I watched his politics in the legislature before he went to Congress. As the Speaker of the House in Oregon, he tried to pass a major tax bill without adhering to the Oregon Constitution, which requires to 2/3's vote to pass. He called it a (mandatory) 'contribution', saying 2/3's wasn't required. Luckily, Peter Courtney had the honesty to kill the bill for that reason.

Sounds like someone who thinks he might be on Trump’s arrest list. The Demsheviks are dead set on stealing the election as they did in 2020, if they don’t manage to have him assassinated first.
Demsheviks have said the Constitution is bad and needs to be junked.
