The Springfield Police Division said Monday morning they have received no reports related to pets being stolen and eaten.
A social media post originally from a Springfield Facebook group went viral nationally in recent days. The original poster did not cite first-hand knowledge of an incident. Instead they claimed that their neighbor’s daughter’s friend had lost her cat and found it hanging from a branch at a Haitian neighbor’s home being carved up to be eaten.
The poster also claimed “Rangers” and police told them that “they have been doing it” at Snyder Park, too, with ducks and geese.
Springfield Police said they were aware of the social media post but that this was “not something that’s on our radar right now.” The post received tens of thousands of impressions.
In a case that some were confusing with Springfield, police in Canton, Ohio, 175 miles northeast of Springfield, recently charged a woman with cruelty to companion animals for allegedly killing and eating a cat in a neighborhood in front of multiple people, according to USA Today.
Before this becomes an official campaign issue, we should really verify whether it is true or not that illegal alien Haitians are actually eating people's pets in Springfield, OH.
This could be a major backfire if asserted and then proven false.
Just saying that we need solid proof that this is actually happening.
At any rate, while the idea of illegal alien Haitians eating people's dogs, cats, and other animals is definitely plausible, the facts must be verified first.
Who reports missing cats to the police?
No reports? There is video of a police call and subsequent arrest for an immigrant eating someone’s cat.
Well then, I guess it never happened.
How is this different than when we Chinese food?
“Who reports missing cats to the police?”
The report was not about a missing cat, it was about people seeing them skinning a cat.
If I had a pet and it went missing, I would definitely contact the local police / animal control to let them know to be on the lookout.
Link please
stolen versus missing
Well, now I am waiting for 51 intelligence officers to sign a letter saying that this story is Russian disinformation.
I'm not saying that it didn't happen. I'm just saying that verifiable proof of the incident(s) should be provided.
We do know for a fact that they were killing ducks. Poaching waterfowl could cost an American up to $10k in fines. I’m sure this will be yet another example of a law that some are allowed to break while other can’t.
I’m jealous of the left. They don’t have to concern themselves as to whether a story like this, (but benefiting them), is potentially fake. If it is, no prob, the media will never report it.
Hell, they would probably find 51 veterinarians and sous chefs to sign a paper vouching for the story.
🎼It was just my imagination, once again...runnin’ ‘way with me.....
Apparently that’s out of Canton, OH, northeast part of the state, south of Cleveland and Akron. Springfield is off I-70 between Dayton and Columbus.
Yeah, it must be nice to not have to prove assertions with facts. Don't have to go through all that effort.
In another FR thread here, someone posted a link to this InfoWars article .
That article in turn contains a twitter link around 90% of the way down the page that shows a cop arresting a cat-eater.
Didn't look closely enough to see if for certain that happened in Springfield OH. Maybe you can research it further.
