NBC has pulled MSNBC’s Morning Joe off the air Monday morning in favor of continuing news coverage of the aftermath of the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump on Saturday, as the Republican National Convention (RNC) begins in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
CNN reported:
MSNBC will not air “Morning Joe,” its celebrated politics roundtable program, on Monday, opting to instead air continued breaking news coverage of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
The progressive news network confirmed the decision to preempt its influential and top-rated morning show after a CNN inquiry Sunday evening. The network said the show will resume airing Tuesday.
…
A person familiar with the matter told CNN that the decision was made to avoid a scenario in which one of the show’s stable of two dozen-plus guests might make an inappropriate comment on live television that could be used to assail the program and network as a whole. Given the breaking news nature of the story, the person said, it made more sense to continue airing rolling breaking news coverage in the fraught political moment.

That’s my thought. Last thing any networks need right now is anti-Trump coverage, especially with Biden saying tone down the rhetoric.
Their own network knows they are infantile and appeal to that part of Manhattanite schnorrers who, like Joe, have a couple of divorces and a murder or two under their belt. Schadenfreude!
They had to pull him ..and the other loud mouth while the left pretends they are all about “unity”.
I have a feeling that “thinking” liberals are realizing, just as they finally admit that Joe is toast, that hard left things like Scarborough, The view, etc. are really stupid and hurting their brands. I mean, they finally got rid of Don Lemon, Cuomo, et-al. That was at least a start.
The “Media” lies about EVERYTHING even this. It’s what they do.
Celebrated? Influential? Top-rated? According to whom besides MSNBC employees?
He woulda said…better luck next time or oh darn he missed. Even though these ass clowns are thinking that they need to continue to be lying, cheating treasonists and pretend they’re concerned. “It’s a tragedy” will be repeated for a few days.
But remember 9/11. They were all on board as “good Americans” and condemned the attack. A year later, “something happened to somebody”.
IOW, they might say "We'll get him next time!"......................
Biden has really put them in a box. Whether he steals it or goes graciously into the good night, the Democrats are being asked to use the same restraint we do. They can’t do it.
The show’s stable of two-dozen plus guests could not help themselves. What would that show be without their Trump Two Minute Hate schtick?
Great comment!
I remember when that Ass-Hat was a republican and played guitar and sang in a country band at the GOP convention back in 2012.
Reopen the Laurie Klausutis case.
One person is DEAD and two are in critical condition.
MSNBC is just covering their a$$ to head off a lawsuit...................
Those two are simply getting makeovers and new hairstyles for tonight. They’ll be in Milwaukee prime time. Those grifters are stuck to NBC
I remember hearing, or reading, years ago that Scarborough was pissed he didn’t get a show at Fox News and became a sniveling lib after that. If true, it would be interesting to see what he’d be like today.
“Scarborough was pissed he didn’t get a show at Fox News and became a sniveling lib after that.”
So much for core principles, right?
Keep in mind that MSNBC isn’t pulling the show because Joe and Mika are going to say something outrageously callous about Trump. MSNBC is pulling Joe because, if he says it, they think it will generate sympathy for Trump.
Is The View still on?
Those crazies can’t help themselves.
