The gunman believed to have been behind the attempted assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump Saturday was shot and killed by Secret Service, sources told The Post.
The shooter, identified as a Chinese man, was in a sniper position located hundreds of yards away from Trump’s podium in Butler, Pa. as he spoke to a campaign crowd, sources said.

These days SS can use drones to keep track of nearby rooftops.
I would be stunned if they did not do so.
A professional hit attempt from that distance with something as small as a .22 rifle (based on what I’ve seen reported) seems unlikely.
He missed at 400 ft. Not a sniper.

Most likely the first person identified as the shooter is the correct one. When the FBI begins their internet scrubbing and narrative building, the ‘real’ identity of the shooter will be fake.
The rumors of this ‘Chinese National’ is pure garbage, we all know it. It doesn’t even make sense.
These days a simple quadcopter drone with big screen remote display and telephoto lens is all it takes.
They could put several in the air at a fraction of what a helicopter would cost.
China is bold because Biden is weak.
Bad news is, the shooter will still probably vote in November
It sounded quiet on TV but I blame audio compression, plus it's not like the mics would have picked up the full boom. I'll wait until we hear what kind of rifle the shooter had before believing it was a 22.

If the SS was using drones, they messed up big time. A witness saw the shooter climbing up the roof from where he shot from.
Here might be a guy who tried to get the SS to get to the shoter. He seemed to see the guy a few minutes before and says he was pointing to the guy while the SS where looking at him from the barn roof.
There isn’t any other explanation for it. It’s standard protocol for SS agents to secure potential assassin staging areas. This isn’t a case of somebody “dropping the ball”.
The problem with statements like this is that they lack specificity.
Was he an Asian man? Or was he a man from China?
We don’t know. Yet folks are ready to nuke Beijing.
People need to be careful. Very careful.
