The House Appropriations Committee DID NOT adopt my amendment to defund the Left’s lawfare against President Trump.
Why?
Not enough Republicans showed up to vote.
Utter disgrace.
But the fight isn’t over. Stay tuned.
That’s ok. Lots of people are going to forget to show up for the down ballot after voting for Trump.
If the ‘lawfare’ keeps increasing PDJT’s poll numbers, so be it.
Standard GOP process. Vote for stuff you promised when you know it can't pass. If it can pass, don't show up.
Meanwhile, if your esteemed colleagues on the other side of the uniparty aisle can pass something without you, go ahead and vote against it. If they can't, find out how many votes they need and make sure just enough 'mavericks' provide them.
.
Just like the Republican-led House Ethics Committee- they have no interest in Dem Corruption, and the Republican chairman pushed for the J6 Nancy / Big Cheney Committee.
.
What’s Important is that Comer and Republicans preserved Impeachment as a Dem-only sacred Tool.
Important to them.
They write meaningless letters thinking the Press will come around to liking them.

“Utter Disgrace”: House Appropriations Committee Rejects Rep. Clyde’s Amendment to Defund Left’s Lawfare Against Trump Due to GOP No-Show
Do we know who didn’t show up?

"The House Appropriations Committee DID NOT adopt my amendment to defund the Left’s lawfare against President Trump [emphasis added]."
“Never confuse Motion with Action [especially in an election year].” ―Benjamin Franklin, The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin
Respectfully to Rep. Andrew Clyde, why did he not mention that the Left and RINOs of House Appropriations Committee should probably face charges for breaking federal law (imo) prohibiting lawfare.
18 U.S. Code § 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law:"Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or to different punishments, pains, or penalties, on account of such person being an alien, or by reason of his color, or race, than are prescribed for the punishment of citizens, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if bodily injury results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death." --18 U.S. Code § 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law
Since Congress has repeatedly proven that it is an enemy of the people imo, it is now up to Democratic and Republican Trump supporters to effectively "impeach and remove" Congress in November.
Patriots need to support hopeful Trump 47 with a new, Constitution-respecting Congress, not only so that he will not be a lame duck president from the first day of his second term, but will support him to quickly finish draining the swamp.
The Deep State Swamp permeates the whole of DC!
I have a solution for this.
We want NAMES of who didn’t show up.
The current House Majority Whip is Tom Emmer, a Republican from Minnesota.
As Majority Whip, Emmer’s key responsibilities include:
Assisting the leadership in managing the party’s legislative program.
Coordinating ideas and garnering support for proposed legislation.
Keeping track of all legislation and ensuring party members are present for important votes.
Serving as the chief vote counter for the majority party.
