I don't think the extra time helped Biden one bit. In fact,. keeping Trump to the strict speak time has kept him mainly on point.

Biden’s eyes look dead now - wonder if Biden will agree to another debate? Even though he’d be a fool to debate Trump again, I hope he does.
Gavin was in the spin room - or someone who looked like him... But one look at what democrats create (rather than the cheap words they use) and no one is going to elect any of ‘em to the Presidency.
Democrat hellhole cities are created with the best of cheap words... and they’re all based on toxic culture incentives.
So it really doesn’t matter who they replaced Biden with - it would be the same outcome. Hellhole cities, high crime rates, illegals from around the world, and homeless misery on the streets - more drug deaths and endless wars.
He could’ve handled that one better, but at this point the debate was settled in the first few minutes. Trump is looking more commanding and presidential while Biden is looking to turn in for the night.
I have to say, I thought it would be another contentious encounter between Trump and the CNN clowns, but it’s been a pretty smooth show so far.

I have a relative in his 80s who is sharp as a tack in the morning and does a Joe Biden imitation in the evening.

They hammered that. They wanted that answer. Get that on the table. I think that has been they only question they really insisted on getting an answer on. And Trump answered -- but the moderator still circled back and insisted on hearing the answer again.

Yeah, there was someone in the republican party, forget who, who felt letting Biden talk, it will only help Trump.
I did not think Biden would be this bad. I thought it’d be 2020 Biden, there’d be nothing really coming out of this and it’d be a draw, thus a ‘Biden win.’ But this is uncarted territory.
I haven’t seen the moderators do anything to help FJB.
