Why Did West Point Remove ‘Duty, Honor, Courage’ From Its Mission Statement?

They replaced it with Diversity, Equity, Inclusion...

“it was not included in the mission statement until 1998”

So we managed to win a few wars without it.

That’s in the same category as renaming Army bases. Erase tradition.

It's still the Motto...and that has not changed.

The rewording in the missions statement...just preference of some of the big boys...Should it have been changed...Of course not...but not a detriment...just an insult to others who wet before.

According to a good friend, conservative, and West Point graduate, this is much to do about nothing. According to my friend, there is a big difference between a motto and mission statement. “Duty,” “Honor,” and “Country” has been West Point’s motto since the MacArthur speech. It was not incorporated into the mission statement until the late 1990s. Although it has been removed from the mission statement, it remains in its historical place as part of the motto.

The statement was figurative, not literal, and no I am not making it up.

The policies of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion when it comes to transgendered service members is being pushed by the civilian authorities upon all of the branches of the military, not just West Point in particular.

Why? Because the Sodomites in charge have no honor.

It was removed to accommodate women, non whites, illegals, and assorted flavors of sexual deviance.

Globohomo is the new mission.

The change telegraphs the intentions of the big boys. They plan to do more . . . and it is not going to be good.
