Two men have been arrested in the theft of LGBTQ Pride flags from outside a queer couple’s home in Arlington, Virginia, over several months.
Matthew Henshaw, 20, was arrested and charged in three of the five thefts that occurred from September to January; he was charged with three counts of bias-motivated unlawful entry and three counts of petit larceny, the Arlington County Police Department said in a statement Friday. Joseph Digregorio, 23, was charged with one count of petit larceny in connection with one of the thefts.
The men are both active members of the U.S. Army with the 3rd Infantry Regiment, also known as the Old Guard, a spokesperson for the Army told NBC Washington.
“We recognize the value of diversity and equality, and the actions of those involved do not represent the values and character of The Old Guard or our Army,” the statement said.
Michelle Logan moved into the Arlington home of her girlfriend, Jenna Burnett, in July, and the couple decided to display a Pride flag outside the house. Two months later, on Sept. 16, the couple woke up to find the rainbow flag had been ripped from its pole. Footage from their Ring security camera showed a man approaching the home around 2:30 a.m. and stealing the flag, the women said.

the girls have such nice teeth.
Yeah. Go rob a Target, or Walmart or something.
We need a heterosexual flag and we need it to be offensive.
And SHE still can't change a flat tire.
Queer is now acceptable as a description of homosexuality. The word gay was originally appropriated to be a more pleasant word and queer was considered as derogatory. It seems to me that queer is going to be treated like the N word with only people who are heterosexual being allowed to use it. It will be referred to as the Q word.
They look like twins conjoined at the head.
Stealing is stealing. Those two will see punishment.
Being that the Ring camera was not spotted on the recon mission, that camera must have been well hidden.
They were just playing CAPTURE THE FLAG.
What the occupants of that house chose to display was legal and nobody else’s business.
I live in the countryside and a few miles a way there is a house literally covered in gay flags, banners and signs. Every time I pass it I wonder why the woman who lives there feels the need to broadcast to the world her sexual preferences Why should I know? It’s as if she wants to ‘make it my business’.
“Not your usual lesbians”
Look more like Sisters.
________
Not quite! The older one is the dominant husband. She owns the house that this sexually confused young one moved into. Older one is robbing the cradle of a basically heterosexual female.
I predict that within a few years the young one (6.8 out of 10) will come to her senses, will marry-mate with a man and live happily ever after.
Over the years I have run into this a bunch of times.
While I have never met any person who said “I am a heterosexual” I have met many who state—out of context—for no reason—without being asked—”I am gay” or “I am a lesbian”.
I don’t want to know.
Ugh.
Smile…
The older one on the right is the husband? Which one does the grocery shopping? The cooking? Which one mans the BBQ?Which one fixes the sammich? 😛
Leaves only one place for the flaw the brain.
