Two men have been arrested in the theft of LGBTQ Pride flags from outside a queer couple’s home in Arlington, Virginia, over several months.
Matthew Henshaw, 20, was arrested and charged in three of the five thefts that occurred from September to January; he was charged with three counts of bias-motivated unlawful entry and three counts of petit larceny, the Arlington County Police Department said in a statement Friday. Joseph Digregorio, 23, was charged with one count of petit larceny in connection with one of the thefts.
The men are both active members of the U.S. Army with the 3rd Infantry Regiment, also known as the Old Guard, a spokesperson for the Army told NBC Washington.
“We recognize the value of diversity and equality, and the actions of those involved do not represent the values and character of The Old Guard or our Army,” the statement said.
Michelle Logan moved into the Arlington home of her girlfriend, Jenna Burnett, in July, and the couple decided to display a Pride flag outside the house. Two months later, on Sept. 16, the couple woke up to find the rainbow flag had been ripped from its pole. Footage from their Ring security camera showed a man approaching the home around 2:30 a.m. and stealing the flag, the women said.

I don't agree with their lifestyle, but there really isn't much that can be done legally. Pulling these kinds of stunts is only going to get you into trouble. It's not worth it.

These two guys can forget about career or pay grade advances for a while. They should have known such an activity would be seen in person or on camera after a couple of times.
What the occupants of that house chose to display was legal and nobody else’s business. It’s not the same as hanging rainbows on a government owned building, which would include all citizens. Two bored young fellows after too many beers.

Heaven help us if WWIII ever erupts, we are toast thanks to our “progressive” experimentation of our military. You think Ukraine made Russia look bad? We could not win a war against even the smallest nations in the world. The days of a rough and tuff Army of GI Joes are gone and all we have is a band of entitled, spoiled, poofs who would break down, wet their panties, cry, and refuse to defend this country. Even our military cadre of fighter pilots have fallen far below what they once were due to putting females in fighter jets for no reason other than politics. I’m not even sure that if we developed AI fighter drones that could operate independently would be immune to the progressive woke sickness that is destroying our country and our military.
