GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley appears to be gaining ground on former President Trump’s steady lead in New Hampshire, doubling her support in the early voting state since September, according to a new poll.
The survey, published Thursday by the Saint Anselm College Survey Center (SACSC), found Haley garnered 30 percent of the likely Republican primary vote, just 14 points behind Trump’s 44 percent support.
While the former South Carolina governor has gained momentum in the early primary state since September, her closest rival — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — dropped 6 points from 11 percent to 5 percent.

Icky Nikki could the war monger could only win if she cheats.
Democrats will cross-over to vote for her.
She’s toxic
Songbird McCain in a skirt
This would be the first time in my life that I don’t vote for a Republican if she got the nomination. I’d write in Trump or vote RFK.
In New Hampshire?....yawn.................
Impossible. Trump is dominating the world and Haley no doubt is disloyal.
If the RNC wants her they had better ask Republicans in Congress to try to amend the Constitution to change the natural born citizen requirement.
I know the Democrats will not hesitate to use lawfare to bar her from the Oval Office should she win in November 2024.
Looks like “Da Hill” is going to push “dem wimmens of colors.”
The legacy press has ALWAYS tried to pick our candidate. I don’t think it will work this time around. The PRESS loves, Haley because ANYONE other than TRUMP is a win for them.
I intend to vote for DeSantis in the Florida primary.
Ha ha. They took 6 points from DeSantis and gave them to Haley. Thats really gonna hurt Trump!!!
I like the name “Icky Nikki”. Did you invent it? Also, it would be funny if the “Icky” part was a real Hindi word.
I call her, “Darjeeling Nikki”.
This is exactly what it is. NH has an open primary. You wwalk in, show them you NH drivers license with your legal address. They give you a ballot for either the Republican primary OR the Democrat primary.
Seeing that the Democrats are NOT having a NH primary on January 23, 2024 that counts, many Democrats are going to vote in the Republican primary.
Even in past years, this is how people like John McCain won the NH primary. Not because of Democrats, but because of Independents also known as Undeclared voting in the Republican primary.
Democrats don't believe in the Constitution any more, so she should be fine.
If The Hill's chosen candidate was ahead by 14 points they'd say their guy/gal/thing is blowing out the other candidate instead of saying they are just 14 points behind.
