During an interview with Bloomberg TV on Monday, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas responded to a question on how to handle people who are in the country illegally by stating that there are “12 million people who are here in the United States who have been contributing so fundamentally to our country’s well-being.”
Host Romaine Bostick said that the consequences for arriving at the border irregularly won’t be a deterrent for a lot of people and don’t “address the other sort of elephant in the room, which is dealing with the undocumented immigrants who are already here in the nation. And I know it’s been a political football, as we’re trying to figure out the best way to address that, but I’m going to ask you, what is the best way to address that, from your perspective?”

Did he cite his source for the number 12 million, or did he dream it up as he always does, even when under oath?
So, Alejandro, if someone breaks into you house (illegally) and eats your food, sleeps in your bed - but he cleans the bathroom, your are fine with the situation? After all, he is contributing fundamentally to your well-being.
Are these the ones costing billions of dollars to house, feed and clothe or are these the ones that can commit crimes and even if caught not prosecuted or are these the ones that are creating gangs within our large cities?
If they are in our country illegally they have no loyalty to the United States, they are taking jobs from citizens, they are taking spaces in our schools and they are using government resources they have no right to.

Since Mayorkas says that so confidently, he must have a long list of those contributions to my and others well-being.
Next I need to read the rest of this story to get informed about the MAYORKAS LIST OF ILLEGAL CONTRIBUTIONS.
