Putin offers staggering sum for new recruits as Russia desperate to bolster shriveling forces

Moscow is trying to bribe its citizens into signing up to serve in the military as Russian President Vladimir Putin watches his forces continue to shrivel up in Ukraine the longer the conflict lasts.

"Putin has launched a full-on recruitment drive," Rebekah Koffler, a strategic military intelligence analyst and the author of "Putin’s Playbook," told Fox News Digital.

An analysis from The Atlantic Council found that Russian armed forces have turned to the civilian population to help fundraise for additional equipment, including drones, thermal sights, vehicles and medicine, through a group called "All for Victory," run by propagandist Vladimir Solovyov.

The most surprising initiative Russian officials have pursued involves a 1 million ruble payment (around $11,000) for anyone who signs up for the "elite division." Several pro-military accounts on Telegram amplified the initiative.

You mean the war that’s still ongoing?

We haven’t seen Ukraine surrender yet

The Atlantic Council is the DC mother-ship for US neocons and EU globalists.

I wonder what Klaus Schwab had to say?

Recruiting? I thought they just stopped by the house, dropped off a notice and picked them up the next day.

I was thinking the same.

You can make a reciprocal argument with anything. I.e. after 9-11 and “taking the fight to the enemy” can be spun into “there was no AQ in Iraq until we went there.” You can literally take any issue and make the opposite argument.

This is just meaningless spin - an interpretation of a fact: that Russia is upping their army personnel end strength and recruiting harder.

The only thing winning the war in Ukraine is the worms that eat the dead.

There isn’t even a clear ‘winning’ or ‘weaker’ portion. Both sides have both simultaneously advanced in some regions, and lost territory in others. Overall, it looks more like 1914 than any war since WWI.

While I have not really been an advocate for arming Ukraine in the past, the reality is that the only way for this war to be end are: 1) Clear victory by one of the combatants. 2) New leadership in the US that can force people to negotiate.

Since the Democrats will be running the Senate and the WH, negotiated settlements will not happen. Biden doesn’t have what it takes to stare down Putin and tell him ‘how it’s going to be’. That forces the option of one nation winning over the other. I don’t see Ukraine surrendering and Russia missed its window for a quick and decisive victory. That leaves only with Ukraine removing all Russians from Ukrainian soil.

Therefore, the best way to end the war quickly, is for Ukraine to obtain overwhelming AirPower over its territory. That’s why I anticipate large numbers of attack aircraft to enter the Ukrainian Air Force by late June of next year. That’s IF the United States wants the war to end, or specially the Boden administration wants it to end. I believe that they may not want the war to end.

Russia lost the war by what measure?

**********************

Russia was never going to lose this war.

They have advantages in numbers, weaponry, geography, history, & the staying power to continue their foreign policy goals to fruition.

They’ll turn Ukraine into a wasteland before they’ll let the West control it.

Also, neither Russia or the West have the finances to rebuild or reconstruct Ukraine alone, eventually a negotiated settlement will have to be in the cards.

There are two measures.

The first is the battlefield. Russia is being defeated by superior force of arms

More important however is the Russian economy. The Russian economy continues to wither on the vine with absolutely no end in sight.

IOW, Putin says that his military has suffered too many dead and injured, and he wants many more to become the next set of victims of the war.

Good leadership there. Almost as good as Biden.

How about letting the Ukrainians control it?
