Former President Donald Trump's final chief of staff in the White House, Mark Meadows, has spoken with special counsel Jack Smith's team at least three times this year, including once before a federal grand jury, which came only after Smith granted Meadows immunity to testify under oath, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The sources said Meadows informed Smith's team that he repeatedly told Trump in the weeks after the 2020 presidential election that the allegations of significant voting fraud coming to them were baseless, a striking break from Trump's prolific rhetoric regarding the election.
According to the sources, Meadows also told the federal investigators Trump was being "dishonest" with the public when he first claimed to have won the election only hours after polls closed on Nov. 3, 2020, before final results were in.

Yeah. Weird.
What are the chances?
Because merely suggesting that anything is wrong, despite what your LYING EYES are telling you; is grounds to have you thrown in jail.
The STATE has told you that this was the most trusted, fair and honest election in human history, to dare even think anything else, demands Re-Education Camp.
So what???
Biden keeps telling us the border is secure
Meadows was fed lines to spout under duress.
Meadows gave his opinion....nothing more.
Nailed it. Context is everything.
We need to give DeSantis a fresh look.
We knew it was never “widespread “
We did know where the shenanigans were taking place in certain districts
Jack Smith thinks he can make a run on a Meadows he said story when Meadows has nothing to back it up.
Smith is more stupid then believed he scratching at anything for a score he must think he’s doing a world court gig.
It’s true because we said so.
Gee, it only took 12 posts to get a response that seems reasonable.
Don’t know if this “sources say” crap has any truth to it, as usually something of this sort has a bit of truth that is significantly embellished.
In any case, I would hesitate to give this story any credibility until we see the response from President Trump and Meadows.
So, Jesus Himself could have told him that, doesn’t mean Trunp believed him.
Mark Meadows was a member of congress and thus is inherently a liar. Why would Trump believe him?
WE WATCHED THE ELECTION STEAL WITH OUR OWN EYES.
Which means exactly zero nothing, nada.
Revelations have shown he was either wrong then or lying OR wrong now and lying.
Just read the long article in The Atlantic in February 2017 in which the scumbags bragged about how much they cheated.
That will be introduced into the record by Trump and Meadows will walk away having given the rodents nothing.
Meadows had no basis for knowing there was no basis in the claims/belief the election was stolen. None of the parties/agencies that participated in the fraud were talking and they were abetted by leftist courts.
The election was stolen You can tell it was because of the lack of attendants at Xiden’s Infraudutation. What people were there were MSM, government employees and party officials.
Uh....NO!
Or a liar. The Deep State has their fingers on a lot of people, and it would appear it was rather difficult to find people who were not some sort of rat.
Mitch McConnell had a lot to do with Trump's bad choices. He had to pick people the Senate would approve, and McConnell held the Senate in session throughout Trump's presidency just to deny him the ability to pick people loyal to him instead of the Deep State.
But I gather that you just want to blame Trump.
He said the exact opposite on his numerous television appearances where he claimed he was loyal.
like, that’s your opinion man...
The evidence substantiates that Mr. Meadows occupied a peripheral position within the Trump administration, which consequently limited his access to direct knowledge pertaining to the intricacies and operations of the Trump Campaign.
His instincts tell him nothing.
“According to the sources, Meadows also told the federal investigators Trump was being “dishonest” with the public when he first claimed to have won the election only hours after polls closed on Nov. 3, 2020, before final results were in.”
Oh. So believing you won an election when you didn’t is now “dishonest”?
Trump’s biggest mistake was underestimating the depths of treachery of the political class.
Meadows better be happy with his 15 minutes because no one will ever trust him again. Especially the RATs that he’s sucking up to.
