I've noticed that support for Ukraine plummeted in Eastern Europe (namely Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia) after the big Nazi celebration in Canada's parliament on 22 September. They're still a little sore about that part of history over there.

For a two-bit player, you shouldn't have that much impact on the international scene, but you really shot yourself in the foot on that one.

Russia can barely handle the Ukes, let alone them plus five nations with which the U.S. has an actual alliance, and this smoke-blowing Russian official knows it.

Putin is “liberating” Ukraine to protect it from globalhomos…., NATO is unnecessary and I will throw in nazis, just to round it out.

It is amazing how the anti-Ukraine, pro-Russia crowd always discount what the Russians themselves say and do. Listen to RT or Russian politicians and they make their aims clear

Must protect Donbas by shelling it, must protect world from nazis while doing everything the nazis did. Protect Ukrainian lives by giving Russians/Putin whatever he wants…..

Truly is like a sporting match, if a ref makes a call against my team it’s bs, and if it is against the other team it is a righteous call.

If Trump was president when this happened would the same people for supporting Ukraine still be supporting it, and those against still be against?

I have no love for xiden, and 99.9% of what he has done has been destructive for our country, yet I can support him on aiding Ukraine with one caveat and that is I disagree with his implementation. We should have gone all in from the beginning not this dribs and drabs approach. Imagine cluster munitions in the first days and weeks, imagine western aircraft operating now rather than in months to come. How would the “failed” offensive be going, I imagine much differently.

The cloak of lies that Putin used to justify his invasion has fallen, as if it was ever really there( his words and writings similar to mein kampf showed his intentions), yet there are people out there, not just trolls, who still spout that bilge.

One more thing if reports that administration is planning on building southern wall to stop invasion is true, let’s see how anti wall and pro wall folks react this time

“He said on his show Mardan Live that “the restoration of the Russian Empire” was what the celebration on September 30 “is all about....”

Ahh, yes, the great “restoration of empire” canard. It’s what failing nations attempt. This is what the dissolution of the Russian Federation sounds like.

Stop it. It’s probably one loudmouthed Russian blowhard had one too many drinks. Russia can’t even beat a pitiful pipsqueak like Ukraine, let alone take on NATO (the USA). Heck, they couldn’t even stop Azerbaijan from kicking Armenia’s butt.

On one hand Neocon CLOWNs tell US Russia can't move past the Dunbass and take Kiev, while on the other these same CLOWNs tell US they will be dancing in Paris and London. It's no wonder they celebrate NAZIs!

This article is coming from Newsweek, a Deep State mouthpiece for decades. The official who supposedly made these remarks was the equivalent of a governor of an American state, and an small one at that. If the governor of Connecticut made a remark on foreign policy, how would that reflect the actual stance of Washington? Additionally, Russia is struggling to hold the territories seized 20 months ago. Any thought of marching on Warsaw or Helsinki is lunacy.

Even if Newsweek is not lying, the purpose of this article is to make Putin a Stalin or a Hitler. In other words, it is propaganda cranked out by the Deep State, not unlike stories about Sadaam Hussein's supposed weapons of mass destruction.

Here we go. Is this the false flag operation that draws us into Ukraine directly? Or is it more war porn that demands additional urgent funding for Ukraine? Congress needs to act immediately. The sky is falling.

Yep, Putin and his lackeys are telegraphing their plans for Europe (and by extension the U.S.), but the appeasers and neo-isolationists on this board refuse to listen or taken them at their word.

It's 1938-39 all over again!

You deleted the part of this interview that identified this man as an official in Zaporozhye, one of the oblasts that voted by referendum to join the RF.

Hardly a high level Kremlin policy maker or Putin advisor.

He is correct though that there are large numbers of Russian-speaking ethnics in the Baltics, and those govts are becoming increasingly repressive toward them, developing a militant Russophobic nationalism, a pattern followed by Ukraine. And fascist European regimes of the 1930’s that targeted a different group.

Poland has been spending more on its military. It needs to beef it up further and also expand Visegrad to include the Baltics and Romania
