Brace for it: Energy prices in America are going to get much worse than we’ve ever imagined
American Thinker ^ | 09/10/2023 | Andrea Widburg

Last week, Joe Biden canceled all drilling in Alaska on federal land. Separate from the fact that no president should have that kind of power over the American economy and lifestyle, he paired it with another executive order that will make fuel more expensive than Americans have ever imagined.

Joe Biden promised during his basement campaign for the presidency that he was going to “end fossil fuel”:

The former vice president and Democratic presidential candidate made the comment Friday after a New Hampshire environmental activist challenged him for accepting donations from the co-founder of liquified natural gas firm.

Biden denied the donor’s association to the fossil fuel industry before calling the young woman “kiddo” and taking her hand. He said, “I want you to look at my eyes. I guarantee you. I guarantee you. We’re going to end fossil fuel.”

Many assumed that Biden was just pandering to the base. He was not. His executive orders have aggressively attacked fossil fuel (although not in China). As part of these orders, Biden immediately placed a moratorium on new oil and gas leases on federal lands.

Again, the Founders never intended to give the executive this much power over every aspect of American life. After all, fossil fuel underlies modern America. It’s not just cars.

Every single thing in your house, including your food and drugs, and in your office place is dependent on fossil fuel. It is an ingredient in the goods we use, as well as the energy that manufactures them and gets them to market. It also enables all modern food production, from planting, to fertilizer, to harvesting, to getting to the grocery store. Without it, we revert to the pre-modern instantly. Yet Biden is slashing away at this fundamental, existential resource like a tyrant.

He expects us to comply with electricity as the sole source of power; this creates a power monopoly, and you know what happens to prices during any monopoly.

I think it's more than that. Obama forced many utilities to shutter coal plants and replace them with "clean burning natural gas" fueled plants. In effect, this makes the power industry dependent more on natural gas.

Now Brandon is trying to block natural gas as much as they can, or at least make it expensive. This means the power companies have to pay more to fuel the power plants -- a cost they add as a rider in the per kWh charge on the power bills. Literally in Brandon's first week in office he signed EO's making it harder and more expensive to drill for natural gas. This made both my natural gas bills and my power bills shoot up.

The Dims are dedicated to making energy hard to come by and too expensive to use. Bull crap like this is why I installed a bunch of solar and also made my home way more energy efficient (the latter of which I probably should have done years ago).

Less than one half of one percent of Alaska is in private hands.

We’ll easily reach $8/gallon if Trump doesn’t regain the WH.

They are also deliberately sabotaging the electrical infrastructure. It’s total economic warfare against the people.

End fossil fuel and return to the 1700’s

No solar and wind systems can produce the power grid system required to power the country.
The grid can’t even keep up with demand now power companies ask people to charge cars do laundry and heavy electrical load devices after 9:00pm .
Utopia doesn’t exist it’s why you don’t find unicorn horns on the ground.

That is why many utility companies are installing and using radio/ internet meters - this way they control the amount, and timing of utility usage.
This is true of both natural gas and electric utility companies; all power and heat will be rationed.
Years go, most people resisted having the control units installed, so the utility companies offered a financial incentive - and those consumers now have "buyers remorse".
The only exceptions to this control are those who heat with expensive propane and #2 home heating oil, both of which almost double the cost during the heating season.
Incidentally, both Home heating oil and propane are being rationed according to your geographic location. Anticipate buying in quantity, during the "off season"
The only alternative is to study the ways of the Amish, or multiple layers of clothing, or else learn 'Bushcraft'.

Option 3: install residential solar. Run high consumption appliances during the day. Have solar batteries.

We opted for the above. BUT! It net costs money to buy the batteries. The solar system itself is a slight net gain.

However with our low utility consumption, we’ll stay off the radar.

Gasoline prices are suppose to come down after Labor Day.

This year, instead, they have risen.

I paid $5.39 per gallon for gas yesterday. Wasn’t a choice. Other Gas stations were about $6.00 per gallon.

Not just gas and electric.....family members of ours (in Central TX) were just informed that smart WATER meters have been installed that can measure your HOURLY usage....and, they also asked customers (Karens) to report (snitch) any ‘possible water restriction violations’.....I kid you, not.

And....this is TEXAS, for crying out loud.

What state?

We’re traveling across NY and found gas for $3.75/gal. That was the best we saw. Mostly, it averages about #3.89.

Texas will Restrict water usage ? and with timers ?, and with "snitches" ?
How 'Verräter' (snitch)of them, just like in the German ghettos prior to WWII.
I would have a 5 gallon bottle (used for office/ home) for each person in the household, and rotate them, just to make sure you have a fresh personal supply available.
As the Chinese would say : "Horreey Crap !"
If you feel that there are "snitches" in your neighborhood, unload any supplies clandestinely, in your garage, under the cover of darkness, at night.

Prepper Adage for survival is :"Rule of Threes":
You can go with :
Three minutes of air in order to survive
Three days of without water in order to survive
Three weeks without food in order to survive

James Riady is Indonesian and an ethnic Chinese. He met with Clinton at the same time men, women and children were about to be slaughtered in Waco, using CS gas outlawed for military purposes.

Interestingly, Google listed first a Washington Post article from 5.27.1997

They control the amount, and timing of utility usage.

Here in LA Edison offer a energy savings plan (Bad Thing) my brother went on it and on peak days they shut down his A/C for about 4 to 6 hours.

I am in south central TX; the snitches that Jane is talking about are going to tattle on you if you water your grass with automatic sprinklers. At least where I am, you can water as much as you want by hand it is very time consuming, but I think that is why they let you do it.

Regarding snitching neighbors, let’s just say that revenge is a dish best served cold.

It sure would be nice if the Republicans would just do their jobs and save America from the horror of the civil war they seem to be on a rocket sled towards for us.
