Laura Ann Carleton, 66, was shot and killed on Friday outside her clothing store in Lake Arrowhead, California
San Bernardino County Sheriff Shannon Dicus said that Travis Ikeguchi yelled 'many homophobic slurs' at Carleton, and was enraged at her LGBTQ flag
Ikeguchi was shot and killed by police on Friday, shortly after murdering Carleton, authorities said on Monday

You don’t hear about many Japanese young men committing such crimes. Eventually, the public may learn that this fellow may have been overcompensating for and in denial of his own latent impulses. If he was active on Social Media such motivation is likely to be discovered there. Sad that this woman had to lose her life over somebody’s personal melt down. Arguing one’s point is one thing, but trying to physically harm someone who is not endangering you is wrong.
