1,400 pounds of cheese from Cooperstown Cheese Company, based in Milford, NY, have been recalled due to listeria concerns, the Food and Drug Administration announced Friday.
The FDA issued a warning encompassing a number of the company’s cheeses that were purchased, sold and distributed through farmer’s markets, restaurants and retail stores from June 21, 2023 to July 10, 2023, over fears of listeria monocytogenes contamination.
No illnesses have been reported as of Friday.
Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious infection, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The illness can be especially dangerous for pregnant women, as it affects the fetus, potentially causing miscarriages and stillbirths.

This is why when I’m in NYC I’ll never buy cheese from out of the trunk of a ‘67 Caddy ever again...

That's going to set them back.
Their cheeses go for over 10-20 bucks a pound.

I hope you have good plumbing.
I've been eating a lot of cheese lately.

Is this linked to the Washington State listeria outbreak?

Stick your hand in the dirt in your garden. When you pull it back out of the cool dirt, it’s covered in Listeria Mytogenis. Not a thing. Just remember it thrives in cooler, damp temperatures like in your refrigerator.

More state propaganda to support BIOMILQ, the lab grown milk being developed by Bill Gates, George Soros, and Mark Zucker-wanker. They need bovine based cow milk to hang around $300 per hundred weight to be cost competitive in a decade or so.
"Soylent White" Lab grown human breast tissue cells that produce milk (lactate) in a lab. They do it with bovine cow udder tissues too. They feed the cell cultures nourishment and hormones to force them to produce milk in a lab or factory.

My mother-in-law was getting chemo for breast cancer. An old friend from her office invited her to lunch at a Mexican restaurant. By 6 PM, she had collapsed on the floor of her home. My wife transported her to the ER. When my wife reached the treatment room, the doctors were mumbling about finding next of kin as they were pulling a cerebro-spinal fluid sample from her back. A nice thing for a daughter to overhear. My M-I-L developed meningitis from the Listeria infection and was so hammered that she had to stop the chemo for the breast cancer. The breast cancer came roaring back and she passed inside of a week.

Funny. But you still have to resist those Rolex and diamond jewelry bargains. “Without a retail store I can pass my savings directly to you. Everything I sell is genuine.”

First thought was the corrupt Dem New Yorkers found the contamination and shifted the shipments to GOP states. Not WA.

That was a quick recall. Too many times the notice comes out 6 months down the road too late for anything.
