Unofficial record high temperature hits Earth this week — more than once

Earth’s average temperature on Wednesday remained at an unofficial record high set the day before, the latest grim milestone in a week that has seen series of climate-change-driven extremes.

The average global temperature was 17.18 Celsius (62.9 degrees Fahrenheit), according to the University of Maine’s Climate Reanalyzer, a tool that uses satellite data and computer simulations to measure the world’s condition. That matched a record set Tuesday and came after a previous record of 17.01 Celsius (62.6 degrees Fahrenheit) was set Monday.

While the figures are not an official government record, “this is showing us an indication of where we are right now,” said National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration chief scientist Sarah Kapnick. And NOAA indicated it will take the figures into consideration for its official record calculations.

They only went back 83 years...so 1940. Big whoop...

These temp charts are as phony as a $3 bill.

“… and computer simulations to measure the world’s condition”

Computer simulations is where the fraud is.

More people need to see this...

Geologist, Professor Ian Plimer, utterly demolishes the human-induced "climate emergency" fairy tale in three and a half minutes...

Informative, funny, brutal.

IIRC an article that stated the Earth’s elliptical orbit was currently edging a bit closer to the Sun each year. The amount of movement is barely measurable. This will continue until at some point Earth will be ‘sling-shotted’ around the Sun wherein the orbit will start edging a bit away from the Sun for a while. Again minuscule distances on a galactic scale but measurable by us puny humans.

It should come as no surprise that an Ice Age just happens to occur about the time we are the farthest away from the Sun and the ice recedes as we edge closer to our star.

I think Gaea has things well in hand.

The entire climate hoax is based on projections based on simulations.

As if weather didn’t exist for the millions of years before we started measuring it.

It is like that scene from E.T. where the boy puts a thermometer on a lightbulb to fake a fever. It shows a fever of 120, but he has to go to school anyway.

In 1961, the Twilight Zone did an episode called “The Midnight Sun”, which the earth was getting closer to the sun.

“computer simulations”

Which means they are not computing an actual observed “average”.

To authenticate this number, you’d need to know the full data set and the code used to run the model.

If you’re unable to do that, just consider this total BS.

The last I checked the earth has a relatively high heat capacity. Maybe we need to move the thermometers.

We got 108F yesterday.
Actually kind of cool for Phoenix in this time of the year.
I remember having 118 many times, even before the global warming started.
The record here is still standing on 122 F about 30 years ago!
