We got 108F yesterday.
Actually kind of cool for Phoenix in this time of the year.
I remember having 118 many times, even before the global warming started.
The record here is still standing on 122 F about 30 years ago!

Phoenix in 1950ties was a city of 50,000 people.
It exploded after the air-conditioning was put on use.
Apparently, people like hot weather!
The homeless in downtown seem to enjoy it even without the AC!

I remember that day. I was working underground in Jerome at the time, and it was about 105 on the surface. Always around 65 down below, though.
