Earth's average temperature remained at a record high Wednesday after two days in which the planet reached unofficial records. It's the latest marker in a series of climate-change-driven extremes.
The average global temperature was 62.9 degrees, according to the University of Maine's Climate Reanalyzer, a tool that uses satellite data and computer simulations to measure the world's condition. That matched a record set Tuesday and came after a previous record of 62.6 degrees was set Monday.

If their “record” went back 5,000 years, I would be worried. But as it is, it goes back only a little over 100 years. When we were coming out of a little ice age. Which preceded a long warm period where it was MUCH warmer than yesterday’s “record”.

Computer simulations. It’s always computer simulations. They are designed to give the desired result.
Why do they even bother? It’s easier to simply make up the data.

I’ll just say from the Rhine Valley of Germany....it is the most moderate spring/summer (amazing low temperatures day/night) of past 20 years, although I will qualify it...one brief 30-minute shower in past 108 days, so drought is a big deal.

I'm skeptical, since the temperature they are presenting includes computer simulations. This is an easy way to "put a finger on the scale." Since the computer says it, it must be true.
Try using this instead https://temperature.global/. It shows a non-catastrophic global temperature 57.47ยฐF.
