Not sure how they could legally bring charges? IMHO they would need to interrogate the supposed victims from the flights under oath. How will they find them? And they would need to be available at the supposed trial (aka, inquisition)

And what does desantis have to do with any of it? “On the direction of Ron DeSantis”? What Texas “authority” takes direction from a Florida governor?

If these filthy leftist animals are not going to stop they’ve crossed the line and they are going to keep charging republicans with crimes.

Of course republicans think what I’m about to say is crazy but they should start charging these district attorneys with crimes in return for misusing the criminal process.

Charge them with false arrest or kidnapping you start playing with the legal system you can turn anything into a crime which is exactly what they are doing with Trump. There are lawsuits and charges that can be brought for corruption and misuse of illegal process and all kinds of things.

This is a tactic used in South America to put the opposition in jail . Democrats are an evil force in our society and of course get away with it because of the media.

Guy must be on the take from the cartels. An investigation into his finances should be opened immediately.

If anything, charges should be brought against the authorities on Martha’s Vineyard for failing to take them, and doubtless for unlawful detention for the time they were there.

San Antonio voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012. Hillary Clinton in 2016, and Biden in 2020. It trends to the left, but is not the lefty mecca that Austin is. Its current mayor is an Independent.

How do you commit “unlawful restraint” of criminals by an authorized government agency?

Shouldn’t a person illegally entered and in the US be properly be labeled a “criminal.” What legal rights does our Constitution grant a foreign criminal? I really don’t know.

Technically fkr the first offense it’s a civil issue if I am not mistaken…so it’s not a part of the “criminal process”

Yeah, I’m not seeing how they have jurisdiction here as Bexar County was not the county these illegals entered Texas, nor was that the county they were flown out of. The alleged crime did not take place in that county.

Of course, the real goal is to get the sound bites and do another ‘Culture of Corruption’ style blitz - and to do that, they really want to have charges filed somewhere in Texas.

Bank robbery takes place, a one hundred dollar bill falls out of robber’s bag miles from the crime. A person finds it on the ground days later. Texas Sheriff changes man who found the one dollar bill with bank robbery!

Makes about the same level of sense...

The left doesn’t need evidence. What evidence was entered in the sexual assault case against Trump? There was none. The left, whether on the federal or state levels, can indict and get convictions against criminal Republicans. Meanwhile, the Republicans are still “investigating” and telling us all these crimes committed by Hitlery, Hunter, Biden himself, but there’s never any charges. No one is convicted. That’s how the justice system in America works! Cool, huh?

Could you imagine yourself crossing into a foreign country by evading their border guards, and instead of being sent back or detained you have govt sanctioned people driving you further into the heart of the nation so you can be put up in hotels, get three squares a day, free phone, medical, lawyers etc but then you also hear that these dumb people are taking each other to court, clogging up the system even more, all because you weren’t taken exactly where you might have wanted to go??? Do you think if we all did this in any other Nation they’d be falling all over themselves to accommodate us including taking long-term billions of dollars from their own tax paying citizens? These people are pawns in a political war.
