We recently learned that schoolchildren from South Carolina were interrupted while singing our National Anthem at the Capitol. These children were welcomed by the Speaker’s office to joyfully express their love of this Nation while visiting the Capitol, and we are all very disappointed to learn their celebration was cut short. We are delighted that the People’s House has been reopened particularly for our children and we look forward to welcoming more Americans back to the halls of Congress.
Additionally, the South Carolina delegation has offered to cover all expenses to return them to the Capitol to sing the national anthem wherever they please.

He's too busy taking a victory lap for his bad debt deal. Honestly, though, how many times over the past decade+ have we at FR found ourselves saying, "Where is the GOP on [insert issue]?" It is happening with more frequency, now, whether in DC or at the state level. For me, the GOP is a fake political party.
This is despicable...and of course the jack boot was only following orders...

A competent Speaker would view such "unacceptable" use of authority as sufficient grounds for immediate dismissal and promptly take action in that regard.

No—sing the gay rights theme song or the New Black National Anthem—that would Be OK. Sometime really soon, when America is on the ropes, and many homes have gold stars in the window, people might want to hear that old song again. In that future America people will understand that race means nothing in the long term. Chinese bullets do not care who they hit. Only when they see defeat face them will America realize this is a new Anti-American world we are entering will they see that there is much we need to save here. I only wonder how many will join the enemies of freedom and fight for China?

Whoever recorded the video should have focused on the “cop” with the mustache that ordered the halt to the singing.
Is the cop a Muslim immigrant who considers the national anthem offensive? Disclose the badge number, name and address!

It was NOT a POLICEMAN that told him to stop,,,,it was just a guy.
Watch the video....it was just a regular fat guy that told Weenie Choir Director to stop.....and he DID!
It probably came from the top. I noticed that the choir was told to stop singing immediately after it sang “No refuge could save the hireling and slave from the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave.” Because these words offend woke sensibilities, it would not surprise me if the Capitol police were given orders to stop anyone who sang these words.

I just looked at the video. You can’t see him well enough to tell what he was wearing. How do you know he wasn’t capitol police? Who was he?
