This is another example of how logic is being replaced with emotion and becomes the sole basis of a decision. Emotion has been used to sell a product in advertising, but when it is used to coerce people’s peoples’ behavior with false claims—’singing will be interpreted as a protest’—it is unethical. There needs to be consequences.
