A Vermont elementary school says it will no longer use the words “male” or “female” when teaching fifth-grade students about puberty and human reproductive systems.
Families of students at Founders Memorial School received a letter on April 20 informing them of the changes to the science and health curriculum.
Instead of referring to a person as a “boy” or “male,” teachers will say “person who produces sperm.” Likewise, they will no longer say “girl” or “female” but “person who produces eggs.”
Caroline Moore, the vice president of Parents Defending Education, blasted the change in a statement to The Post Wednesday afternoon.
“This manipulation of elementary anatomy and physiology is a bridge too far and a precursor to what we will see everywhere if the proposed changes to Title IX go into effect,” Moore said.
“A boy is a boy and a girl is a girl. We all know this. So why are we pretending we don’t? This is the primary way to differentiate human beings at birth, not “assigned” like a class project. You cannot politically correct yourself out of this.”
The letter received mixed reactions on Twitter, with some users comparing the practice to Aldous Huxley’s 1932 novel “Brave New World” while others called for students to be pulled from public schools.
“Absurd. A person who produces sperm is, by definition, a male. A person who produces eggs is, by definition, a female,” one Twitter user wrote. “And sex is not ‘assigned’ at birth, it’s observed at birth. How exhausting all this nonsense is.”

I wouldn’t last long in school. I was annoying teachers in the 70s when they said stupid stuff — the situation today is beyond belief and I would be in endless trouble. I just don’t handle BS well.

Totally bonkers. But, parents keep sending their children to these schools, so there’s not much we can do.
Sounds like Principal Sara Jablonski, who may well be a “person who produces eggs.”, is also a “person who LAID A VERY BIG EGG.”
I suspect that Mizz Sara Jablonski, is in for a HELLUVA ROUGH RIDE from parents and ALSO school board trustees!

On some issues, the Liberals lecture us that we need to follow the science.
We are told that we are ignoring the science, or misunderstanding the science, or contradicting the science ,on global warming.
With all this LGBT and gender identity business , they are clearly ignoring the science.
I know we are not biologists, so we may be confused about things. But there are certain scientific facts, such as the female has ovaries and produces egg cells. The male has testicles and produces sperm.
I’m still understanding how people get assigned a sex at Birth. They make it sound like an arbitrary decision is made when a baby is born as to what the sex of that baby is. I’m not a biologist, so maybe I am misinformed,but I know what they do to determine the sex of a baby. And it is not an arbitrary process.
