Cleveland, Ohio, has informed city residents that their water is safe amid growing concerns about the environmental consequences from the derailment of a train hauling chemicals in the northeastern part of the state.
In a statement, Cleveland Water notified residents that its drinking water comes from Lake Erie, which is “separate from the Ohio River and its watershed.”
“There’s no indication that Lake Erie or its watershed have been impacted by the train derailment in East Palestine,” the department said in its statement. “The testing that we regularly perform would catch any changes to our source water should they arise.”
The statement comes as East Palestine, a village in northeastern Ohio, is facing questions from residents about whether the air and water around them is safe for people, pets and livestock in the aftermath of the incident.
East Palestine residents are also asking for financial support after being forced to evacuate from the area.

And the vaxxes are safe and effective as well...................
I store a half dozen jars of that stuff for the possibility of litigation evidence.
Have the mayor make his kids and/or grandkids drink it first.
OK, How would a train derailment in East Palestine effect Cleveland?
This is fear porn. Some of you people need to get a grip and yeah you’re all gonna die.

The water is safe, but the air will damage your health for years to come

It all depends which way the wind is blowing. After seeing the huge toxic cloud from the “controlled” explosion, who knows where that toxic cloud settled.
The wells are probably/definitely polluted; hopefully it didn’t make it down to the aquifer.
I remember when safe water in Cleveland meant the river didn’t catch fire.
From Lake Erie - and that's supposed to reassure them?
Citizens of Cleveland: Do not believe this. It is a lie.
Fact: Fallout from Chernobyl was found in the grass and soil in Pennsylvania! Detected in the milk be dairy scientists.
The earth does not stand still. Nor does its wind and water currents.
East Palestine is 70 miles south east of Cleveland . Even if the wind were to go backwards the dilution factor is enormous.
PS I live closer to East Palestine than that and down wind.
Cleveland is in the Lake Erie watershed. East Palestine is in the Ohio River watershed. Never the twain will meet. if you don’t get it, go back to school.
I think Pittsburgh would be more likely to have issues due to the prevailing winds and watershed.

Yes I know the area, interesting it happened in between two major democrat strongholds, Cuyhoga County(Cleveland), and Allegheny County(Pittsburgh).
