Rocket launches are quite violent events, perhaps the cargo is super sensitive and cant sustain the launch.

They don’t need to obviously. But hopefully this is not just going unnoticed. There should be a way to jam it or fry the electronics without looking like we are taking any bait.

The ChiCom spy balloon flew over Parliament Hill (home of the House of Commons and Senate), but found little intelligence in either House. They are returning home. Prime Mistake Justin(otheridiot) Castreau has promised to help them to get home, by whatever means they require; even if it costs $100,000,000 CDN! It is, after all, just taxpayer money! Besides, nothing is too good for the CCP, he believes, especially since their balloon was the homosex rainbow balloon! </sarc>

When those balloons pop a couple of EMP devices we will definitely then know for certain Biden and Castro’s son , Trudeau have been bought and paid for. Otherwise these Intel gathering platforms would have been neutralized.

I thought of that right away. They look eerily similar. The Japanese balloons did little damage, but one did land and explode in a camp ground, injuring and killing several. They also caused some minor forest fires.

How about a balloon releasing anthrax or some other deadly biological warfare substance over the U.S. Something cooked up in the Wohan lab? Isn’t this remotely possible? These could be trial balloons if not the real thing. Release a bio-weapon as you’re about to invade Tiawan. Panic the American people and distract our defense establishment from China’s real objective. China is waging war on all fronts now and has as its major asset the moron in the White House and his cadre of Marxists.

One of these is a weather balloon blown off course. Two is not. Remember the 9-11 attacks on the Twin Towers. The first was taken as an accident. When the second plane hit the second tower, that fiction went out the window.

Why assume these are surveillance balloons? I don’t get the Pentagon. This resembles news reports that some attack isn’t terrorism. Immediate statement with nothing to back it up. And ABC, NBC, CBS, and the rest take the government’s word for it.

60 miles is 300,000+ feet. I thought I read somewhere this balloon was at 100,000’.

Is that not correct?

You have to be much higher than 70,000 ft to get an EMP over a wide area. The original EMP nuke test in the 1950s was Hardtack Teak, which was about 58 miles up.

someone posted its track at 45,000 feet. That's getting close to commercial aviation. I've also seen reports that its too high for US fighters to approach it. at 45,000 feet, that shouldn't be a problem for US fighters to intercept it. 100K feet might make more sense, especially since it had to travel from China. Can balloons stay aloft at such high levels? I have no idea.

So there's lots of contradictory info out there.

When a small town somewhere in the Midwest gets dusted with Carfentanil (100x more potent than Fentanyl) and is killed off, we’ll know it’s not doing surveillance, it’s just a test.
