Sick of the farce, it’s time to quit pretending that we do and that men are women and that men give birth.
We no longer live in a constitutional republic with limited government.
Businesses, unelected bureaucracies and big billfolds run everything.
They even tell us how to think.
As if we didn’t already have unlimited government borrowing. The “debt ceiling” is a fiction, a joke, whose existence is only to provide a fig leaf of cover for their spending. It’s only to make the rubes back home think they are “doing something.”
They never ran into a “debt ceiling” they couldn’t break through with the stroke of another pen, another Congress, another Speaker, and another President regardless of which party was momentarily in power.

I wonder is the general public can also get no debt limit on their credit cards, and if they do spend too much, that nobody comes to collect and the debt is forgiven or forgotten.
But heck, if there is no debt limit for government, why even pay for anything? Paying means that somebody is keeping tabs, and might want to collect what is due. Heck, why even collect taxes if spending is not tied to any type of collections from the economy, businesses and people.
I’m all for no spending limit if the government gave up on collecting taxes and fees.
Let them do it. Why not? They always raise the debt limit anyway, just do away with the pretense.

Trump, Obama, Bush, Clinton, GHW Bush and Reagan all raised the debt ceiling.
They might as well... it means nothing anyway.
Got’s ta pay the illegals. They need food, housing, medical care, new car, apartment for their girl friends, vacation home in tha Bahamas, mama’s boy friend’s car and apartment (those are expensive), tickets to the Yankees, Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals and SF Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, LA Lakers, LA Clippers and NY Knicks games. Other than that, they don’t need much more.
One of my credit cards has no spending limit.
