Thank God for those 20 brave Republicans! I still don’t trust McCarthy he needs to go. Period! He is poison, cancer, and part of the swamp establishment. That will never change. I don’t trust McCarthy to honor any of his commitments. He’s too much of a dyed in the wool swamp denizen, like Mitchie McConnell.
Per talking heads on War Room, he will do ANYTHING to keep the Speaker position, including making these promises. (Which he probably would not keep, even if in writing.) Too many of his supporters are depending on him to protect them from the constituents knowing the truth about them; their alliances with CCP and lobbyists; and other shenanigans. As Speaker, he would have the power.
