Right-wing anti-vaxxers pushed a debunked conspiracy blaming COVID shots after NFL player Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field on Monday.
Hamlin, a 24-year-old safety for the Buffalo Bills, suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed on the field after a scary hit to his chest during the Monday Night Football matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Players surrounded Hamlin as he received CPR for about nine minutes before being taken off the field in an ambulance. The game was postponed and Hamlin was taken to a local hospital.
"Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest following a hit in the Buffalo Bills' game versus the Cincinnati Bengals. His heartbeat was restored on the field and he was transferred to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for further testing and treatment. He is currently sedated and listed in critical condition," the Bills said in a statement early Tuesday.
The scary moment led to an outpouring of support and prayers for the young second-year player and an online toy drive fundraiser launched by Hamlin quickly raised more than $3 million in donations in the hours after his collapse. But some right-wing anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists used the incident to stoke a widely debunked claim that the COVID vaccine is causing young, healthy athletes to suddenly collapse.

Meaning when they cant figure out why they will sick with that, we don’t know
“And all of the sudden, the Left is extolling prayer”
All the talking heads on TV last night were extolling prayer. My immediate thought was “hypocrites, liars.”
Exactly right. The “people of science” are using ZERO statistical analysis to prove the “vaccines” are safe and have not caused a huge increase in sudden deaths. The fact that they won’t do that is all we need to know.
exactly
Look how they turned on Musk after they could no longer use Twitter to push Leftist propaganda and disinformation campaigns.
Yes a baseball pitch can do it for sure
A hockey puck almost killed Chris Pronger.
I see them on the right as well. Both sides are guilty.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
What obvious leftist BS. Typical attempt to deflect criticism of their contemptible conduct by accusing others of engaging in the same activity.
The people who insist that everyone “follow the science” do not want you to ask questions or explore hypothetical causes.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
What is really laughable about this “just follow the science” mantra is that one of the basic postulates in science is that in many instances what is believed to be fact may, upon further research, be disproved.
Found this am. Cardiac deaths on field for 70 years—-none
Which doesn’t excuse being so eager to jump on any death or illness topic and blame the vax that you can’t even be bothered to see the person killed themselves. That’s pure garbage person classless ghoul behavior. Those are the psychopaths.
I wonder if the FRoctors and FR $$s also work at Salon?
Sure sounds like the same writings/ramblings.
Ties in, with this....
thanks
Today I received this message from a former NFL player
So many current & former players are scared of what this vax is doing to their friends & they’re not allowed to discuss it publicly
I promised him I would be his voice
But my God what is happening to us

Pretty d@m bad when these players/former players won’t even speak up.
Why does it take Rogan to speak up, for them?
Where are the brave players?
#StrengthInNumbers
I referenced the DJ who killed himself in my first post, you ignored it when quoting me. Probably didn’t bother to read it.
The fact is simple, jumping onto every death or injury thread to blame the vax is garbage person behavior. If you have to be a garbage person to fight your fight you chose the wrong fight.
Well this is a thread about an NFL player who collapsed on the field in the most unnatural way. I don’t know about your DJ fellow, but it is in no way unreasonable to suspect that the COVID shot was the culprit of such a weird occurrence when the evidence is mounting that the shot CAN cause this sort of thing, especially when it isn’t happening to some overweight middle-aged man, but an elite athlete.
And it is precisely the refusal of the mainstream even to entertain that possibility that makes people so emotional on the subject. Declaring people to be “conspiracy theorists” or lacking in class simply for noticing what is right in front of their faces guarantees that people will become angry and lose faith in the system, and when faith in the system is gone, everything can be assumed to be a lie until proven otherwise.
And it is at least equally unreasonable to declare that it is DEFINITELY not the shot within the first ten minutes as it might be to assume it is.
