Twitter is closing down its Seattle offices and telling employees to work from home as the social media giant continues to cut costs under the leadership of new CEO Elon Musk, according to reports.
The move comes as Twitter is facing eviction from Seattle’s Century Square Tower since the company has stopped paying rent, sources familiar with the matter told The New York Times.
...Twitter will likely now only have offices in New York City and San Francisco, according to the report. However, the company has also reportedly been skipping rent at its Bay Area headquarters.
According to the Times report, the company had cut janitorial and security services at the Seattle office, leaving some employees to bring their own toilet paper to work.
In November, 208 workers at the Seattle offices lost their jobs after Musk slashed Twitter’s 7,500-person workforce in half, according to The Seattle Times.

Musk should place Twitter HQ near Brownsville/McAllen or Titusville/Cocoa, just to reduce the travel from SpaceX facilities to Twitter HQ.

It’s pretty obvious that Twitter is about to see a relocation to somewhere other than where it is now. The woke snowflakes are a bit too stupid to see the future. Cut back on brick and mortar infrastructure in the hell holes of Cali and Seattle , keep mission critical employees working at home, fire the rest, relocate to some normal local, slowly build up your new onsite workforce with normals living in Normalville, offer the good, productive legacy Twitter employees a relocation package and phase out the woke dead wood. This will cut Twitter’s bloated operating expenses by about 70 % from the pre acquisition days while increasing productivity and quality by leaps and bounds.
He should move to Wyoming, or Tennessee, or Florida, or South Dakota, or New Hampshire.
All other good red states without income tax, besides Texas.
