Tucker Carlson generally deals with topics that are pertinent to news today. When he dives into historical events, you know it’s because it’s a bombshell and tonight’s episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight delivered.
The assassination of President John F. Kennedy marked the launch of the modern conspiracy theory movement. Six decades later, we’re still getting new information and it doesn’t look good for the CIA. They were clearly involved in multiple ways, from the use of a “mind-control expert” to gaslight the world about Jack Ruby to the ongoing coverup that ties the CIA directly to the assassination. Even former CIA Director Mike Pompeo, who pressured Donald Trump to keep information hidden, declined an invitation to talk about it.
Trump had promised to release all the JFK files as scheduled for 2017. But Pompeo pressured him to hold back much of the release, assumably the most important parts that would implicate the CIA then and now. In doing so, he compelled President Trump to have one of his few broken promises of his first term.
That move alone should preclude any Republicans from even considering Pompeo for the GOP nomination for president in 2024.
According to the Gateway Pundit:
As reported earlier today – On Thursday the National Archives released thousands of the JFK documents.
But the FBI-CIA would not allow the release of all of the documents. Around 3% of the JFK documents are still being withheld from release to the public — more than 50 years after the assassination. What are they hiding?
Carlson spoke to someone with direct knowledge of the assassination and asked if the CIA was involved. The reply: “The answer is yes. I believe they were involved.”
Many of us have suspected this for a long time. It makes sense when we consider that they were the ones who started demonizing the idea of “conspiracy theories” in the first place. Today’s stigma against “conspiracy theorists” is a direct result of the CIA’s propaganda and control agenda with the initial sole purpose of covering up their involvement in the assassination.
What does all this mean? According to Carlson, the implications extend from before the assassination all they way to now because of what it means about our system of government.
“It means that within the U.S. government there are forces wholly beyond democratic control,” he said. “These forces are more powerful than the elected officials that supposedly oversee them. These forces can affect election outcomes. They can even hide their complicity in the murder of an American president. In other words, they can do pretty much whatever they want. They constitute a government within a government mocking by their very existence the idea of democracy.”

At this point it would be more shocking to find out the CIA wasn’t involved than proving that they were. It prompts the question of what else they’ve done to America over the decades to maintain their power at the detriment of the people.
The approximately 400 pages concerning the JFK assassination that FBI-CIA refuse to release is the issue. What possible reason can there be to not release documents over 50 years old? I think the answer is “There is a there there”, that is, CYA for all the mistakes made.
“. I seen historic films of people jumping up and clapping over his assignation. ”
Got a source? I’ve never seen films of anyone celebrating
Fair question. I have read probably six books on the subject, including books by Mark Lane and books regarding the Clay Shaw-New Orleans-Fair Play for Cuba issues.
The most definitive book is Bugliosi's reclaiming history. If memory serves it was over 1200 pages and in a smaller font than normally used. Bugliosi said if a standard font was used and you assumed 350 pages for one book, the book would be 9 books totaled.
I have also been to the museum in the School Book depository and walked the grounds of Dealy Plaza. I also retraced the Oswald escape root.
I do not claim to be an expert, and if I came across projecting myself as one, it was purely unintentional. I would say I know a bit more than the average guy and not nearly as much a those who have truly delved into the details.
No, Dulles and the generals left those Cubans stranded at Bay of Pigs, not Kennedy. Before the operation, he told them unequivocally that US forces were not going to be involved and that was a condition of him allowing it to proceed.
They thought they could back him into a corner and force him to do what they wanted. Dulles and our treasonous generals didn’t count on him having a backbone and standing up to them.
And they murdered him for it
“Carlson spoke to someone with direct knowledge of the assassination and asked if the CIA was involved. The reply: “The answer is yes. I believe they were involved.””
So someone with “direct knowledge” says that they “believe” the CIA was involved?
One would think that if he had direct knowledge wouldn’t he have said “Yes, the CIA was involved.”?
“Pompeo did not want to appear on the show because he first has to get with the CIA spinmeisters.”
More than likely it has to do with an NDA.
The second shooter nonsense is bunk... Oswald was a lunatic, trained by the marines to shoot a rifle, like all good marines are. He acted alone and did a very good job of it. The Marines should be proud of his unique accomplishment.
It means that within the U.S. government there are forces wholly beyond democratic control.
We know 2020 proved it.
“When Kennedy pulled air cover from the operation , guaranteeing its failure, the die was cast”
He didn’t pull air cover. He told them from the get go that was not going to happen. The treasonous generals and Dulles thought they could force him into a corner. But he didn’t “pull” air cover.
Got a source...
No. I forgot the documentary. Below though is from a Financial Times article about Texas (this happened nationally in bars throughout the country).
Michael J Bond claims that “no Texan or any American celebrated President John F Kennedy’s death in Dallas” (Letters, October 18).
This simply isn’t true. As historian William Manchester wrote in his 1967 book The Death of a President, there were reports of celebrations in Texas when Kennedy was assassinated. Manchester described a scene of “rejoicing” high school students in the city of Amarillo, and he also wrote: “In Dallas itself a man whooped and tossed his expensive Stetson in the air, and it was in a wealthy Dallas suburb that the pupils of a fourth-grade class, told that the president of the United States had been murdered in their city, burst into spontaneous applause.”

I totally agree with you. I’m no ballistics expert, but Newton’s Law “ for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction” was definitely on display for the world to see, thanks to Abraham Zabruder.
Manchester has been deeply discredited as a fabulist. His WWII book Goodbye Darkness was filled with claims that were later proven to be outright lies. Battles he claimed where he was not present, faked wound claims etc.
I wouldn’t trust anything worn by him.
it is a very weird episode, in a series of weird episodes
Walker was also a weird dude, shall we say.....yeesh

the author writes that LHO was 100 feet away from General Walker when he fired the shot. the location is 4011 Turtle Creek Blvd in Dallas. Apparently there was a fence at the north side of the property. A fence is currently there although it appears to be of more modern construction.
Everyone who is invested in the LHOLN theory proclaims that LHO was an expert marksman, but if so, how come LHO missed (stationary target in good weather and well lit conditions) General Walker from 100 feet away?
LHO was not accused of shooting at General Walker until the Warren Commission report. If “expert marksman” LHO is dismissed as a suspect in the Walker shooting, then IMO the remainder of the Warren Commission report must also be regarded as suspect.
Appointment in Dallas by Hugh MacDonald -- It has been over 20 years since I read this book, the author is former high-ranking LAPD who oversaw security details in LA for high level dignitaries. He had connections with the FBI, CIA and Secret Service. He wrote the book after his retirement.
In the book he claims to have eventually met the shooter (yeah, I know, seems hard to believe, but he gives a good accounting for the meet). The shooter said several things of interest: Oswald was indeed the patsy. The CIA convinced him to help them stage an assassination on JFK. Oswald was to shoot at Kennedy but miss (recall the first shot did miss).
Trip to Mexico -- The hit man would not agree to the whole thing unless he was convinced that a plausible fall guy was part of the deal. The hit man wanted to see him up close. Thus, the trip to Mexico.
The shot -- The kill shot came from a low angle from the building across the street from the School Book Depository. His shot was fired after Oswald's first shot.
Oswald -- The shooter, as stated in the book: Imagine you are Oswald. You believe you are on board with the CIA. You take your shot, you miss, as instructed. Then another shot rings out and you see the presidents head blown apart. Suddenly, you realize the truth: You have been set up. You panic and you run.
That makes two of Oswald's comments made while in police custody true:
"I never shot anybody"
"I'm just a patsy"
I am not saying I believe all of the above, but I was disappointed that Bugliosi did not attempt to discredit the book or proove a single point wrong. Instead, he ridiculed it. I thought it to be worthy of more than that.
Maybe, just maybe, we need a new Government. A government without an FBI/CIA/NSA or KGB.
“Manchester has been deeply discredited as a fabulist.”
Thanks, this may be true, but I seen video of several bar scenes of people standing a cheering throughout the country. Unfortunately I don’t remember the documentary show (over a few years ago, but I made a mental note of it since it surprised me). So, whether or not he lied on this, I am going to believe my lying eyes.
Was 11. And agree.
IF the FBI did kill JFK—Tell us why this was needed. He did have a Mistress who was an East German spy? Was he going to sell out to the Russians? Why shoot him! Why Shoot MLK? Why get rid of Bobby K. (If he became president—he might have uncovered the kill Kennedy plot) what did LBJ have to do with this? Lots of Questions. Maybe, just maybe, JFK needed to be shot? Perhaps?
