The FBI has continued stripping Americans of their Second Amendment rights through a secret operation in which agents convince individuals to voluntarily sign a document relinquishing their constitutional rights.
The Washington Examiner, in an investigative report, explained the FBI presents various individuals with a form.
Then, "the FBI asked signatories to identify as a 'danger' to themselves or others or lacking the 'mental capacity adequately to contract or manage' their lives. The forms were presented by the FBI to people at their homes and in other undisclosed locations beginning in at least 2016 and until December 2019, when the FBI claims it was discontinued," the report said.
However, the FBI "secretly stripped eight more people of their rights to own, use, or purchase firearms" since then, the Examiner reported, citing internal FBI documentation.
It was only a few months ago that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green and other Republican members of Congress demanded the FBI and DOJ hand over proof the agenda no longer was being pursued.
But the Examiner found documents showing that eight more people have been subjected to the program just recently.
"Americans can't simply sign their constitutional rights away, even to the FBI," explained Rep. Michael Cloud, R-Texas.

As long as end Amendment rights aren’t absolute why not get people to give up their 13th Amendment rights? Is that amendment not absolute either?
Think of how happy the “chamber” would be to get free labor!
Free labor will reduce inflation, what a win!
Probably joementia needs to walk that back and declare only some rights aren’t absolute.
I’m sure there are all kinds of unrecorded, vague threats made at the time. Threats to one’s Social Security having ‘problems,’ problems with credit, bank accounts and other financial instruments, and lastly, threats of prosecution for unspecified infractions.
The FBI is the most despicable agency of them all in my opinion. They deserve the worst scorn and distrust imaginable.

IF they want to make you miserable, they surely can and will. Makes you consider some of the “homeless”’may be on to something.
My problem is that the FBI aren’t attacking, coercing, lying about and persecuting the ‘homeless.’ They are SOLELY committed to following leftist dogma and doctrine against American freedom as supposedly guaranteed by the US Constitution. IMO, they are enemies to it.
Silly me. My K-12 Civics experience pre-dates the higher understanding that “Rights”, as defined in the Constitution, are really more like guidelines.
I was raised in the understanding that certain Rights are inalienable. The amendments to the Constitution memorialize a range of rights that are not given to us, but are ours BY RIGHT. They cannot be rescinded and they cannot be waived.
The idea that the FBI or anyone else can cause citizens to “sign away” any of their rights is preposterous.
But what do I know? Harry Truman was President when I was born.

Actually you can sign your rights away. People do it every day. They’re called contracts. If you ever get a bail bond you sign a hell of a lot of your rights away.

Not only that, but any contract or agreement that is illegal is not enforceable.
The FBI, like its twin, the former KGB, needs nobody’s permission to do anything...
The FBI (like the CIA & NSA) is a self-governing, self-perpetuating entity whose weapon of choice is “fear”...
