The incidents come to light via a federal memo following a deliberate attack last week in Moore County, North Carolina, that left tens of thousands of people without power for days as seasonal temperatures fall.
In Washington state and Oregon, spokespeople for several energy companies - Puget Sound Energy, the Cowlitz County Public Utilities District and Bonneville Power Administration - confirmed the attacks occurred in November.
A federal law enforcement memo revealed that the Pacific Northwest substations have described attacks using 'handtools, arson, firearms, and metal chains possibly in response to an online call for attacks on critical infrastructure.'

The person who shot up the gay nightclub last month was a Mx - gender neutral sexual weirdo.
The man who shot up Walmart last month was a black Obama Supporter.
Just in case you're wondering why we assume leftwing crazies.
No, I don’t wonder about who did it. It is clear that it is Satan’s children. Those who deny and hate him. Those who continually support and nurture EVIL!
Those who seek to destroy mankind, before they are sent to hell forever.
Before the 11 million official number, it was 35 million.
Then overnight they switched it to 11 million in the 90’s.
But that number has been growing over the last 30 years.
“The FBI said the defendants were White supremacists and expected the damage would cost the government millions of dollars, lead to power being out for months and evoke civil unrest and potentially a race war prompting the next Great Depression.”
Not naivete. Leftist indoctrination by the Media, schools, universities.
“response to an online call for attacks on critical infrastructure”
That is the biggest clue I found in the article. What online call?
Who is making the call?
I live in Washington and this is the first I heard about this. I have worked for various cities and counties across the state and read the online newspapers daily to keep up on those areas and folks I came to know.
Without knowing more, these could be random. (Don’t forget the word of the month (“stochastic”)
'...handtools, arson, firearms, and metal chains...
I’d like to see numbers for previous years. The woods in Oregon and Washington are full of hunters in November. Not all of them are upstanding citizens. Handtools could have been used to force entry on remote sites, solely for the purpose of theft. Certainly arson has happened before. Metal thieves have been known to set fires. Bored and drunk idiots have been known to shoot at about anything. The metal chains are intriguing. Did they bring them, or liberate them from locked gates? Were they thrown into sites with intent to short out transformers?
In short, could the feds be drumming up a story from a nothingburger, in order to further their “stochastic terror” narrative. Comments her would indicate that they're not above doing worse.
Don’t they generally claim credit?
“Earth First”? “Just Stop Oil”?
Highly unlikely! I’ll wager everything I own that their English is flawless...that they grew up in Scarsdale...and that the guys have “man buns”.
Yup just what I spoke about in the Duke power shoot up thread/posts a few days ago.
Houston...I see a problem. These towers and substations are often isolated and hard to monitor. The MSM hushes the stories up quickly.
I have been saying for years that this sort of coordinated attack is coming...is easily perpetrated and has very serious effect. Propane storage facilities are next.
At least there were multiple witnesses for the SC incident, which occurred during daylight hours--possibly near a shift change at the power plant.
Stupid headline....these attacks were before the NC attacks.

Investigators – who have found nearly two dozen shell casings from a high-powered rifle – are zeroing in on two threads of possible motives centered around extremist behavior for the weekend assault on two North Carolina electric substations, according to law-enforcement sources briefed on the investigation.
The news comes as the primary utility company in Moore County restored electricity to the final customers of the 45,000 homes and businesses that initially lost power.
Officials on Wednesday also announced a total of $75,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for Saturday’s attacks.

National guard needs to protect and defend infrastructure...
Good luck with that. Not even close to enough bodies to pull that off.

I imagine this kind of crap is going to continue until the FBI starts sending its boyz to shrinks to help get them over their obsession with Trump and conservative white Americans.
