[history]
Former President Donald Trump suggested the “termination” of the United States Constitution could be allowable in response to the bombshell report that the Democrat Party colluded with Twitter to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election.
The former president made his observation via his Truth Social account on Saturday following journalist Matt Taibbi’s thorough report on Twitter’s internal communications during the 2020 elections at the behest of newly-minted CEO Elon Musk.
The author of the Breitbart article above is spinning (lying). Here's what Trump actually posted.

Trump clearly doesn’t want to be President. He's on track to win the nomination, lose every state he lost in '20 and then some.

This discussion about whether Trump is calling for a suspension of the Constitution is pedantic at best, and more to the point, utterly ridiculous. You nailed it buddy. The article and a great deal of the comments in the thread are absolute trash.

No. President Trump basically said that the constitution doesn’t allow for a fraudulent election.

It’s clear that Trump said you can suspend the Constitution.

We’re no longer a republic.
The Constitution is no longer in force.
The law is whatever Deep State thinks it can get away with.

I was really impressed with your skill at hurling a constant barrage of insults until you let on they were mere copy/paste plagiarisms. You can stay impressed. None of those were plagiarisms. I authored them all. 😀
They were copypasta, though.

Notice how the NeverTrumpers (even the recently banned ones!) are flocking to this thread??By “NeverTrumpers” do you mean FReepers like myself who supported Trump enthusiastically in 2016 and 2020 but now realize that he has no path to the White House in 2024?

That way I won't 'wast'(sic) your time any more, though I did so enjoy it yesterday. 😎

I have extensive experience with 80 year olds. Both Biden and Trump demonstrate behavior similar to what I have experienced first hand. People that age and older should not be driving a car, let alone driving a country.

Trump "told" us, and has been prepping us for this momentous point in US history unfolding, slowly, surely and with the needed force.
He made this statement within the first 3 minutes of his 17-minute inaugural speech on 1/20/17, when members of all the military services got up to stand behind Trump, for just about a half-minute while DJT told us he was 'giving the country back to YOU, The People', afterwhich those members of all the military services moved back to their seats.

I have extensive experience dealing with RINO mush brains. You fit the bill.
Remeber, Trump is running in '24. Desantis will get crushed if he tries to go against Trump.
I predict that you will be voting for Trump in Nov. ‘24.
Get used to the idea.
Where else are you going to go?

Agreed.
Twelfth amendment states when a new president starts acting.
“And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President”
