Payton Gendron pleaded guilty Monday to state charges stemming from the May shooting at a Tops supermarket in Buffalo. Gendron pleaded guilty to 15 charges in all, including domestic terrorism motivated by hate, murder and attempted murder. He still faces more than two dozen federal charges, some of which carry the possibility of the death penalty. His sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 15, 2023. Domestic terrorism motivated by hate carries a mandatory life sentence.
He was charged with carrying out a "domestic act of terrorism motivated by hate" along with 10 counts of murder in the first degree, 10 counts of murder in the second degree as a hate crime, three counts of attempted murder as a hate crime and one count of criminal possession of a weapon.

I’m having a hard time imagining a circumstance where a terrorist act is done in self defense.
Lincoln’s assassins were found, arrested, put on trial, and hanged, all within six weeks.

Well, even for something to be labeled as a terrorist act, you have to consider motive - otherwise, it would be charged as a run-of-the-mill crime without the terrorist label.
Thereby eliminating the need for any courtroom testimony that would have been uncomfortable for the Government.
As Dean Martin said in ROUGH NIGHT IN JERICHO, “Lock him up. We’ll hang him tomorrow right after the trial.”

I agree the media treated the Brooks case differently but his motive was never determined and he never attempted to use his act as a terrorist platform. Despite being given weeks of live TV coverage without an attorney and being allowed to say anything he pleased on live air. There was no evidence he attempted to choose victims by race and anyone in his way was hit.
The Buffalo idiot live streamed the shooting with obvious messages of hate and terror on his rifle that he wanted the world to see/repeat. He even apologized to a white man in the store while shooting blacks near him several times. Plus a manifesto full of personal details that explained the motive. This was a very clear case and almost a copy of the NZ idiot.
New York’s last execution was in 1963.
Re: 15 - Thanks for bringing that up. There was a middle age white male on the floor who the shooter passed his muzzle over and shot nearby blacks. The shooter is trash and thankfully will never be free again.

Brooks clearly targeted White people. The fact that there weren’t any non-Whites in significant numbers in his way merely shows how he targeted it.
It’s naive nonsense to believe that he did it because um...his credit card interest was too high?
